Data security: archTIS lands key licensing deal

archTIS Ltd CEO and Managing Director Daniel Lai talked with Proactive about a newly signed $390,000 licensing agreement with a major Japanese multinational. The deal builds on archTIS’s acquisition of Direktiv and its integration of advanced cybersecurity technology into its Trusted Data Integration platform. Lai explained that the licensing agreement enables the Japanese company—an asset services provider with operations valued at $12.5 billion—to introduce new data-centric security services into the Japanese market. “This is just another example of that occurring, which is really exciting for the company,” Lai said, referring to archTIS’s broader international expansion strategy. He noted that the company had always planned to replicate its success with the Australian Department of Defence and local defence industrial base in overseas markets, particularly those facing geopolitical pressures. Lai also highlighted progress in the US and Europe, where trials were recently completed with a large US department and NATO in the UK. Oriole Resources wraps up pivotal 2024, targets major gold milestones in 2025

Oriole Resources PLC (AIM:ORR) CEO Martin Rosser and CFO Bob Smeeton take Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the company’s latest full-year results and upcoming milestones across its key exploration projects. Rosser highlighted a pivotal year for the company’s Bibemi and Mbe gold projects in Cameroon. At Bibemi, a recently completed phase five drilling campaign is feeding into a revised Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), expected this quarter. “We believe there's very good potential to not just increase the amount of gold, but also improve the category of the resource,” said Rosser. The company is also advancing an exploitation license application for the project. At Mbe, maiden drilling continues, following trenching results that indicated strong mineralisation. “We think Mbe South has significant potential to host a substantial gold deposit,” Rosser added. Smeeton detailed a £2 million reduction in operating loss and financial support from BCM International. “Since year-end, BCM have given us $1.1 million, largely replenishing CapEx,” Smeeton noted. He also confirmed progress on a joint venture agreement with Managem at the Senala project in Senegal. Brazil Potash’s Autazes Project fully permitted, poised for construction

Brazil Potash CEO Matt Simpson joined Steve Darling from Proactive providing key updates on the company’s Autazes Potash Project in northwest Brazil. The project has successfully completed all necessary permitting milestones—including technical, environmental, indigenous, and public consultations—clearing the way for full-scale construction. Brazil, which currently imports 98% of its potash, remains heavily reliant on foreign supply. The Autazes Project is designed to address this dependency by supplying 2.4 million tonnes annually, equivalent to approximately 17% of the country’s current potash demand, all of which will be sold domestically. Simpson highlighted the project's cost advantages, emphasizing that because production is based in Brazil, the total cost of extraction, processing, and delivery is lower than the transportation cost alone for imported potash. The construction of the Autazes Project will follow a modular approach, with major components pre-assembled offsite—including in Manaus—and then transported via the Madeira River to mitigate potential weather-related risks. This approach ensures greater efficiency, productivity, and quality control throughout the construction phase. Brazil Potash has already secured key commercial agreements to support project financing. The company has signed an offtake agreement with Amaggi, one of Brazil’s largest soybean producers, for 550,000 tonnes over 15 to 17 years and a MOU with Keytrade, a major global agribusiness player, for an additional one million tonnes. These agreements play a pivotal role in ongoing debt financing discussions with banks and export credit agencies, further de-risking the project for potential investors. Institutional support for Brazil Potash remains strong, with backing from Seed Capital (UK), Sentient Group (Australia), and Franco-Nevada. Quantum Base to list on AIM with £5M IPO plan

Quantum Base CEO Tom Taylor joined Stephen Gunnion in the Proactive studio with more about the company’s upcoming listing on the AIM market and its breakthrough anti-counterfeiting technology. Quantum Base, founded in 2013 as a spin-out from Lancaster University, has developed an atomic fingerprint that offers 100% secure authentication of goods, scannable with any smartphone. “It tells you 100% if something is real or it's fake,” Taylor said, describing the technology as a major leap in the fight against counterfeiting. Taylor explained that the technology has applications across sectors including brand protection, pharmaceuticals, tax stamps, banknotes, passports and even aerospace parts. The firm is already working with clients globally—from North America to the Middle East—and targeting both commercial brands and government organisations. The IPO is expected to raise £5 million, with £4.70 million already committed and trading set to begin on Friday under the ticker QUBE. The retail offer remains open. “We really want to grow… AIM really helps us grow,” Taylor said, noting the listing will support product development and expansion into new verticals. Key uses of the funds will include expanding Quantum Base’s commercial team and scaling its product reach into global markets.
