Literally, a few weeks ago, the board was suggesting swapping out the NLG (nose landing gear?). If that is true, they don't need to fly to Oscada (sp?) to do that..if it was already being done.
If the above is correct, then Baltia flew to Oscada(sp?) to do regular maintenance and adjustments for proving flights.
position: long and strong purchase: Baltia.
troyal, sometimes it isn't about the money. Do you know how awesome the whales will feel when they own a portion of an airline company.
In the 10-Q, Baltia states it is certifying for world-wide travel so it can do charters. How many of those whales will be able to charter a Baltia plane to travel free because of their investments and believing in Baltia's business plan.
Any company that keeps on trying since 1989 seems pretty intent on getting its air carrier certification.
For me it isn't all about the money anymore, I want to be part of owning a tiny fraction of an international airline company.
spectacular find Carsmax177. Virgin America had issues navigating the air carrier certification also...and they weren't dealing with part 121 at the time. This makes complete sense. BLTA will have its inaugural flight, they've completed more than 90% of the process.
position: long and strong purchase
Carsmax177, great analysis of the financials... It looks good and that is very good for us. This might be ready to begin proving flights.
I focus on management discussion and analysis; because investors can find some good stuff in that part of the financials...like the staff of 70 with airline experience.
In the previous 10Q awhile back, it said when they get their certification they are going to hire 30 crew and 50 managerial positions. I'm shocked to see I was correct a few months ago when I said there are 70 employees.
Baltia just confirmed that in their 10Q.
Thanks for observing that cash balance. Clearly those who say whales are funding Baltia, must be on point.
taketheredpill, it will climb on proving flights and we'll be able to see their operations with that new website.
Thanks just a learner, wow. eom
I wouldn't be surprised if Russian Federation is one of the whales. They would probably love to own a majority of an American Air Line company with direct 8 hour flights to St. Petersburg and other satellite states in Eastern Europe.
C'mon Baltia!!
This flight crew can do mini's blindfolded, imo. With seven of them, it's pure muscle memory.
Baltia Flight Crew is awesome. FAA has to give them a successful PASS.
I'd like to know the record of the air line company that has had to do the most mini's... Probably us.
That makes sense just a learner. Baltia has done SEVEN mini evacs, it's sort of getting rediculous.
number 1, number 2, number 3, number 4, number 5, number 6, number 7.
1,2,3,4,5,6,7.
Seriously? Our flight crew cannot be that lame. Just look at the way it looks in writing. Seriously... they had to learn each time...and mini 7 must be record breaking for all air lines. Probably performed it in less than 90 seconds.
IMO
Monroe1, it's really true. I saw it on crash investigations where they did an evacuation of plane on fire. British Airtours (I think). Anyway, investigators learned what you posted about the fumes and developed smoke hoods.
They are actually already on board some airplanes and they are located in the galley inside the upper cabinet for the flight crew's use. They're black hoods with a silver circle in the front center made from some sort of mesh and other items to do whatever they're supposed to do.
In this particular evacuation the crew must have forgot the hoods were in the upper cabinet in the galley. I'm giving exact location for us..lol. Now we know where they are located.
Many thanks Robodog, your post should be pinned; because it provides us with a nice succinct synopsis of the situation we're in at this time.
Your post is clear, concise with brevity. Well written. Thank you for taking the time to compose the post. I know it's difficult sometimes to explain situations and you summed it up perfectly.
THANK YOU!!
Right on finna_makes_gains!! I like when you post...I think you're almost rich...those posts are funny. Reminds me of saying "are we there yet".
We are soooooooooooo oversold on RSI and Stochs. Our pps decreased for no reason. There weren't any negative PR's from Baltia.
Agree wickw50, FAA can finally give us our pass of mini number 7...while looking at mini numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6...
Looking at the above in writing, it looks suspicious that we're waiting on FAA to render its decision. Look how many we already did..1,2,3,4,5,6.
I haven't looked at it this way before; but Baltia should have passed one of the mini's before it got to 7 mini's... You'd think they'd have learned from Mini number 1 and at least for mini number 2 and certainly at mini number 3 and no doubt about it at mini number 4 and shockingly have a mini number 5 and wow, another mini, number 6!! and now absolutely our perfect mini for all items within our control, mini number 7!!
Volume ONLY MILLIONS!! EOM
Yes flaflyersfan, we are aware of the Authorized shares; but, we need to know the float. We don't know the float. We NEVER trade even close to a billion shares, volume is consistently only in the millions.
The disparity between the Authorized shares and the shares traded daily is peculiar. IMO.
Good luck to you.
Ice2chill, a lot has happened in a year, we're 90% complete with our air carrier certificatation...waiting for proving flights to begin. We see the MM manipulation of the stock while Baltia is successfully moving towards its air carrier certification.
We're an easy target during this waiting time. Apparently Baltia isn't PR Happy scam.. They only release a PR when it accomplishes big items in the air carrier certification process.
Next up, mini PASS and proving flights. It will happen and we can't do anything about you people messing around with our pps without news. Baltia has to keep working to get necessary items addressed and get ready for proving flights. IMO
You poking around here makes us think you're interested in investing in our airline company too. the potential REWARD far exceeds the nominal risk of five hundred dollars to get a position at a great pps. IMO
Robodog, maybe they're just getting shares from the weak hands and then it will start climbing when we can begin proving flights.
Before Thanksgiving. imo
LTO, 25 cents lol. .0025 eom
I noticed it too. I thought that somebody wants the pps at this level on purpose. But then again, I've thought that ever since it went to the 3's...
I have a feeling that this IS being done on purpose.
Baltia is this close to getting its air carrier certification and it's at its lowest price (generally speaking).
I know we have to wait, I just wish we could "wait" faster.
emit, yes, i'll do it too. My hope is that Baltia is bringing the pressure to the FAA or they're working together.
Baltia's aircraft is going to be the role model for safety. IMO we would be so lucky if that happens.
As soon as they get their air carrier certification they are hiring 30 EXPERIENCED crew and 50 EXPERIENCED MANAGERIAL STAFF. Read their 10Q's under management's discussion and analysis, it's where the good information comes from.
And let's not forget that Baltia states that the FAA is responsible for their operations...something to that effect. Read the 10Q's, the SEC regulations make that information from company's management a requirement for the benefit of all investors.
Also, Baltia has successfully completed more than 90% of requirements and its been around for at least a decade, and now, I would consider them experienced anyways.
Correct Monroe and the families can blame the FAA for this known industry wide situation. At least we know, as the FAA, that all of our friggin slides work.
Now if Baltia gets smoke hoods that are on some aircrafts for the flight crew, Baltia will be the role model for safe flying for passengers.
Baltia has gigantic leverage, you are all right.
Nice guess, I feel it's going to PASS before Thanksgiving and hopefully Baltia completes whatever maintenance they're doing in those pictures. It would be nice to know what they're doing to the 747.
mrlahjr, it does seem like there are grounds for thinking that there is malfeasance at the FAA; but I believe there are some posters on this board with FAA connections and many shareholders have eyes on the FAA; so imo they will give our mini a PASS before Thanksgiving.
I also think Baltia is using its leverage on the FAA and they will bring the pressure to the FAA if they detect malfeasance.
I'm hoping for this week if the Baltia crew completes whatever they're doing in those pictures.
Totally agree Robodog. Baltia won't hurt the stockholders with a reverse split. RS is a nightmare because the shorters come in and short it back down then you have less shares at the same price as what the price was before the RS and that is not fair to the loyal stockholders.
Baltia has to handle this. They started the process, they know who to speak with at the FAA in DC, FAA Eastern Michigan, DOT and any other organization that may be involved.
I don't think we have all the information we need about what is happening.
IMO.
GRISWOLD, if that is the route Baltia wanted to take, they could have completed three more mini evac tests. Its been 90 days which is very critical considering if certain issues are in process, Baltia could begin the entire process again (it says that in certdogs post taken from SAS or SMS clause...something about 90 days of inactivity.
Obviously we're in the middle of issues; so we're not inactive, but it has been 90 days...through no fault of our own.
mikeslt23, it should be a PASS or an unfair redeployment of R1 to test that comprehensive fix. Choover suggested this could happen, if I remember correctly.
I vote for the PASS because they've done a record 7 minis, two of which should have already been approved.
certdog, it does seem like Baltia or the FAA is in between a rock and a hard place. It would have been much smoother if Baltia was firmly in the ATOS system. But then the FAA decided to revise in the middle of Baltia's tasks to get their long deserved PASS and air carrier certificate.
The information presented seems to favor Baltia; because the issues are firmly with the FAA and the vendors, neither of which are under Baltia's control. And that is patently obvious to us and should be perfectly obvious to an organization such as the FAA, so-called experts.
Thank you for that detailed information. Now it's obvious that this transition is causing some issues. FAA needs to make a clear statement that Baltia began its air carrier certification with the ATOS in place at the time and indeed should be grandfathered in.
certdog, would this part of the SAS or whatever it's called affect Baltia?
.....The CHDO must evaluate an inactive period that exceeds 90 days. Inactivity of greater than 90 days may be cause to terminate the certification process, or you may terminate the process when it is clear that continuing the process will not result in approval or acceptance (i.e., multiple failures of the applicant’s submissions). If there is a change to aircraft make/model during the certification process, the project must be restarted at the beginning of Phase 2 or reviewed for possible termination........
Great clarification post Robodog, thanks for making me and everybody else who needs to understand that checklist understand the checklist.
From what is being said via the posters who know the industry, mini #3 Passed the FAA mini evac test.
The question is what could possibly be taking the FAA such a long time to approve the obvious. They're not stupid or ignorant FAA employees.
Very nice post Robodog. Clearly you're an expert in avionics. You seem to dismiss the checklist a little bit.
Did Baltia fly its plane to Malaysia already, because that is on the checklist.
Do they have a contract with Evergreen at JFK, because that is also on the check list.
If the situation is slide related and the FAA has known this for years, wouldn't they pass Baltia sooner rather than later; because other airlines are flying with the same known issue; so they wouldn't be mad when FAA gives Baltia a Pass.
Something is holding up those proving flights that Baltia thought would begin immediately after recurrent training with three crews... it's the slides or something else.
Baltia did a comprehensive fix on the slides according to their update; so it's a mystery about the three month hold up on a decision or announcing the decision.
Thank you for your insight.
Now look at the first item of the third row where it says "DOT Awards Baltia Frequencies" .
This is interesting because we all saw the DOT request that Baltia filed with DOT for the frequency allocation (expedited request); could that mean that we did indeed successfully complete the mini? When the mini evac is on the second row of tasks in the fifth column, the third row, first item says "DOT Awards Baltia Frequencies"...
If Baltia is requesting that DOT adjudicate its Frequency Allocation request, can we infer that we must have got a PASS for our mini evac and successfully completed presidential review?
Please look at that checklist very carefully. Look at row two in its entirety and look at the first item in row three..."DOT Awards Baltia Frequencies"
Did we request that because we know we successfully completed mini evac?
Please read the row of tasks that speckulater posted for us.
Read the post to which I am responding.
It clearly says something like DOT issues final order AFTER "presidential review". and you'll see on the same row of tasks to be completed that DOT issues final order after "presidential review".
Read first item of second row of tasks.
It would be nice if somebody responds to this post. THANK YOU.
There is an idea of what may be the hold up and it has to do with the checklist of items that need to be completed.
You're all going to either laugh at me or you're going to consider the item on the checklist.
Before proving flights, there is an item in fine print on that checklist... it is called "presidential review". Everybody can make fun of it and not think the President is part of the air carrier certification process; but he is part of the air carrier certification process and that fact is spelled very clearly on that check list.
FWIW.
I'm with you Robodog and all the investors are feeling the same, imo.
What on earth could be the hold up? We could have done at least 3 more 15 second evac tests during this time.
Because of this fact, there has got to be a reason that none of us has thought about, and I know we're all thinking together about what could possibly be the reason for the length of time to determine a 15 second mini evac.
I personally think there is something really huge about this stock besides the OS. Since 1989?! That is odd in and of itself.
And Baltia has a lot of demand, we should be sitting in the pennies just like a year or two ago....07.
Baltia has progressed much more since sitting at .07 and this should be reflected in the pps.
FAA continues delay which is unacceptable to a company that is ready, willing and able to begin proving flights.
And whats with the frequency allocation adjudication...thats easy, we're just applying to retain it (SOP); we already have it.
It could be where MMs think; but that is totally not economics at all... It's supposed to be SUPPLY AND DEMAND that runs the price of ALL stocks.
There should be a law against manipulation of pps on all companies.
SUPPLY AND DEMAND economics 101.
Firestream, finally somebody else has the same thoughts. I've been saying that there is some entity that is driving the price down intentionally and I don't know who would do that and is there any motive for Baltia to want its pps at these levels.
Uhhh, I guess short positions don't want the pps to go up...but I am a bull on BLTA and would enjoy the beginning of an ROI at this juncture.
