certdog, it does seem like Baltia or the FAA is in between a rock and a hard place. It would have been much smoother if Baltia was firmly in the ATOS system. But then the FAA decided to revise in the middle of Baltia's tasks to get their long deserved PASS and air carrier certificate.
The information presented seems to favor Baltia; because the issues are firmly with the FAA and the vendors, neither of which are under Baltia's control. And that is patently obvious to us and should be perfectly obvious to an organization such as the FAA, so-called experts.
Thank you for that detailed information. Now it's obvious that this transition is causing some issues. FAA needs to make a clear statement that Baltia began its air carrier certification with the ATOS in place at the time and indeed should be grandfathered in.
