I'm gone. Like a steam locomotive rolling down the track, I'm gone, gone, and nothing's going to bring me back. I'm gone. 06/29/2023

Lizzie is the bottom of the dregs. She deserves whatever the justice system gives her.
Bob Zumbrunnen passed away in 2017.
He was a good guy and played a major role in both iHub and Silicon Investor.
I don't think he will be reading your reply.

It is a lab project hyped to be a real business.
Yeah, it is just that simple.
It was not I who implied that Lightwave would supplant lithography in semiconductor fabrication with the clumsy radius/radial tire analogy, it was x993231.
I merely ask him/her to explain how that was possible. When he/she had the time.
So, you imply that Lightwave Logic's polymer will cause lithography to no longer be needed in semiconductor fabrication.
I will look forward to your explanation of how that would be possible. Whenever you have time.
My comment concerned a lack of knowledge of one of the most basic steps in semiconductor fabrication: Lithography (as integral a step in semiconductor fabrication today as it was in the beginning). And not realizing that the light used in lithography has nothing to do with silicon photonics.
Great choices on fuel for the generator.
Gasoline goes bad over time. Diesel can freeze.
Nat gas and propane are the way to go. I am thinking about getting a whole-house Generac. No nat gas in the outback so plan to go propane. I worry about the installation costs as it won't be simple. I already have both wind turbine and solar power production with inverters in a grid-tied setup. I'm guessing my install will be expensive as I want the system to cut over to generator automatically when I lose utility power.
I know VMI well. I was a cadet in the Corps at Tech (VPI).
Back in the day the cadets at the 2 schools tried to pull $hit on each other before the VPI/VMI football game.
We kidnapped (or was that Roo-napped?) VMI's kangaroo mascot one year. Another year we built a 7' tall paper mâché Roo and filled it with cow manure from the dairy barn. Set it up at the stadium in Roanoke and aimed our cannon, Skipper, at it. The VMI cadets emptied the stands to save the Roo and ended up covered in manure on their long wool overcoats. That was my Rat year and the Rats pulled off that one.
I got a million stories! Sometimes we won, sometimes the Keydets did!
My wife & I never wanted to cruise, even before COVID.
She can get seasick standing on the pier looking at a ship.
That's not our idea of a good time!
I saw an interview with Dr. Ben Carson tonight. He said something that gave me pause:
He said that COVID infection rate in Nigeria is 14 per one million population. In the US it is over 2,200 per one million. He said (paraphrased) "that is a big difference". He went on saying in Nigeria, they take hydroxychloroquine to prevent malaria. And that if this was taken into consideration, the vaccines would have never received Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) because an effective treatment already existed.
Now understand, I always thought most of the non-vaccine touts online were wearing tinfoil hats. I have 2 shots of Pfizer plus a booster 2 days ago. I am starting to worry about "immunity exhaustion" with all the vaccines I am taking. Shot 3 may be my last. I'm an older guy with diabetes and COPD.
I'm starting to worry we have been played.
It is a seldom seen $10 payout from the iHub community faucet. shaj hit it twice in a week!
People are "on the edge" now when the company is ubiquitous, gold and the best thing since lithography?
Sounds like the foundation isn't firm.
Holy Crap. Trinity! We had moccasins too. They are indeed mean SOBs!
But your friend sounds like a real Cajun! He sounds like the real deal. Choot 'em! I can hear it!
I grew up in the Shenandoah Valley and HATE Copperheads!
There's just something wrong with poisonous snakes that don't have rattles to give you a warning.
Maxwell is likely to get Arkansased.
Thank you for the reply.
I know you had to take extra steps to read my post. That shows commitment.
But I would recheck that scientific process and not rely on what the company says.
Here's a current one that has the same stench about it that WAVX had.

I retired from Intel Corp. in 1998. My last job was managing the secure co-processor program in the Secure Platform Group.
Fast forward to 2009. The Trusting Computing Group, an industry consortium, released the open spec for the Trusted Platform Module (TPM). It is a cryptographic chip that offers hardware-based security functions that other companies can use with their security software (this is a very simplistic description). PC's still ship with TPMs. Intel was heavily involved.
Then came Wave Systems with their own solution that used the TPM. It was crap.
But the Mullets didn't believe me.
I haven't flown for many years either. I used to fly almost every week for business. Now, flying is an awful hassle.
But I have almost 600,000 frequent flyer miles just sitting there and growing every month from using an affinity credit card. Sheesh! At least it keeps my air miles account active.
Maybe I'll fly first class to some exotic locale someday when I don't have to try to avoid the Wahun virus.
Yeah. There's a poster who used to fill snack dispensing machines for a living who carries a lot of blame for the Mullets' pain in Wave Systems. May he rot.
You are a true believer.
I am a rational person.
I really am offended by people who try to force their "belief" on others. You have been told this by others on this board. You should take your evangelical mission elsewhere where it may be appreciated like the Bible board.
I won't know if you do because I will no longer see your posts. You offer nothing of value.
Because that is where the sun, moon and earth ended up after the big bang. Anything more than that is not fact-based and is anti-reason.
It is not a "sign' of anything or from anything. Otherwise, you may as well assert Zeus hurled thunderbolts at the Titans and the universe was formed when Chaos was set afire.
If mysticism floats your goat, that's no problem. You have a lot of company,
For me, I'll take reason.
Well, considering the Christian mythology was created by the Flavian emperors in Rome to try to control the messianic Jewish revolts in the two Jewish Wars, it was quite simple to apply observed solar and lunar occurrences to their mythos.
I'll not worry about "judgement" or Armageddon, thank you very much.
Alas, this year's flu vaccine is not a very good match for the strains we actually got. But it is better than nothing and may help the symptoms be less than if the vaccine is skipped.
Thanks, sumisu.
I miss Tom. He was a good soul.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
My old Chevy step side is a short bed 1/2 ton. I have always called the engine "gutless". Even when it was new, when only loaded for tent camping, it felt like I needed to get out and push on mountain grades.
You recommendation for the 350 is excellent. That was one of Chevy's best engines.
I'll talk to my hot rod builder neighbor. I was hoping I could mod the existing engine and get some more power as it has really low mileage and I'm sure the other things I need to do to the truck are going to be expensive.
But yes, the 350 would be great! The automatic tranny in this model isn't the greatest either. Some called this automatic the "explode-a-matic" tranny. It has a pretty bad rep.
It will depend on what it all is going to cost.
I know Old Bay seasoning - the only way to steam blue crabs, but never heard of a hot sauce called Old Bay.
