I have 2 pick up trucks. One is a 96 Dodge Ram crew cab 4x4. It has been a good truck. Has a great 5 liter V8. My only complaint is I seem to have to replace front brakes more often than I am used to. It is probably the last truck I'll own.
The other one is an 86 Chevy step-side short bed Silverado 4x4. Bought it new and has less than 60K miles. It needs some restoration, the wood bed is shot and the paint has seen better days. It has a small 4 liter V8 that could be more powerful. I know a fellow nearby that builds fancy hot rods. I'll take it to him to see if he can to a frame-on restore and maybe squeeze a bit more power out of the engine. And see if a retiree can afford it. It is my "one of these days" project. Paint is now black, I'm thinking about candy apple red.
