Well I think after the Mexico deal closes CCEL will be back to break-even at best. That's how. If you're not growing you're going backwards.
Earlier today I said I prefer a merger. I still like that outcome but honestly because we have one of the smartest CEO's around, I want whatever Matt wants. I trust his judgement totally. Now MW, I don't think so. I can see a lot of CCEL shareholders coming over to buy CBAI this week. The smart ones anyway. And if Matt pulls this off Locks, I think he should get a raise.
Are we changing the subject again? I've had a long day so am getting confused. Weren't we talking about royalties?
That news is sooooooo old. Come on TT. The royalty ended March, 2010. It's over and done with and only related to CORD stems, not Corcell stems. Try again.
You guys are doing a great job on the Board today. Just catching up and laughing my butt off. Too funny.
Nice work TT. The only thing wrong is the $7.5M isn't gone. Just put on the shelf until our share price is higher. But you're right, a new S1 would have to be filed if we wanted to use those funds. Keep looking and you might even decide to buy.
CCEL is already listed on the NASDAQ. That is where I think we were headed anyway.
No way that is going to happen. A merger does everything Matt has wanted. The two companies combined makes us stronger and provides the cash for the most part to do the Mexico deal. It also would allow us to fix the cap structure as new shares would have to be issued for the new combined company. It also allows us to immediately uplist riding CCEL's coattails. And the new company would be in a much better position to buy more companies. Consolidation has to happen at some point anyway. Lets just hope the CCEL Board is open to all possibilities.
My preference would be a merger if the parties could agree for Matt to stay the CEO. But you're right about one thing, CCEL has more to lose than us at this point. I don't see CCEL having a legal basis to stop our acquisition but I'm not a lawyer. Either way I see this as good for CBAI.
Going to be a little nippy at the game today.
Like Karin says, until we know the basis of the lawsuit we have no clue what CCEL is thinking. I'm sure they will announce something Monday. Another thought is if CCEL actually was trying to hold down our share price using VFIN hoping to stop the deal, and that failed, maybe now they will make us a buy-out offer. They are sitting on a lot of cash. If you followed CCEL's share price after they were offerred a buy-out deal it went straight up. Could that be the next move for CCEL, to make a move to buy us out? Don't know but it could be the main reason they filed the suit. IMO the China deal is the key here for us. If that deal is still as good as it was first announced, it's worth a lot.
I'm sure CCEL will come out with something Monday now that Matt has disclosed the suit.
Matt obviously decided to disclose the suit before Cryo-Cell. So maybe when Cryo-Cell announces the action they will give us a reason for the suit. Not Matt's job to do that IMO. Time will tell.
Hi Karen. I have no idea what the basis of the suit is at this point. Didn't ask Matt and he probably wouldn't tell me the details anyway. Seems they should be suing Mexico if anyone. I think this is a desparate attempt to stop the deal. But if they do stop it, I might sue Cryo-Cell as an injured party.
Morning all. I heard from Matt last night and I can tell you he is certainly excited about the opportunity this presents. He's for sure not concerned.
You have to understand it was some work he did for Cryo-Cell here in Tampa where he lived at the time that gave him the idea to open his own cord blood company. So they have a history. And while we know DW made a buy-out offer recently, who they were doing that for has not been disclosed.
Since Cryo-Cell dismissed the buy-out offer without taking it to the shareholders that could come back to haunt the CEO. I can see us buying them out or merging with them when this is all said and done. It makes sense for sure, especially with us buying there largest affiliate whether they like it or not.
I like our chances going forward. This will be my only post today.
Hey Onebbqman. I've learned a lot the past couple years trading and based on everything I've learned any shorting IMO is just the MM's trying to make a buck and making a market. Unless we show up on the list below, we're not being shorted significantly. This list is the failure to deliver list which means 10 days after a stock was sold the shares haven't been delivered. Just my educated opinion, but I do believe we're headed in the right direction finally.

This is going to become a very public fight.
Dog's not a dumbass. He's been following this stock for years for a reason. Even he can see progress is being made for a change. It's certainly taken a while but progress is progress. I'm encouraged.
Good one Booger. I can see a merger coming with this. With Matt at the top of course. Honestly, it would make the new company immediately profitable and cash flow positive, you could rename the company or even keep the Cryo-Cell name (yuk), fix the share structure, and even possibly move right on up to the Nasdaq riding Cryo-Cell's coattail. All one play. I like the idea. Time will tell.
I will also tell you for a fact Matt is aware of some of the false and misleading statements being made about CBAI by certain people, and they should be concerned for sure. I also see this most likely ending in CBAI either buying CCEL or possibly a merger that leaves Matt as the CEO. I doubt CCEL's shareholders are very happy with MW and the rest of her mgmt team. She's history.
The best part is Matt announced the suit before MW did. Caught short again. This is a desparate move to try to keep her job. But now we're going to own them too. Hahaha. Fools.
I like this part the best. "Cord Blood America-Announces 'Nuisance' Lawsuit". I said more than once VFIN was most likely working to stop our big deal. But most posts disappeared and I'm now limited. Of course, I also said the bashing wasn't by accident.
I can see this leading to a merger or a CBAI acquisition of Cryo-Cell. The two CEO's have a history but if I was one of there investors I know who I would support. CBAI. Hopefully Cryo-Cell has some independent Board members that have some sense since obviously the CCEL CEO doesn't. I remind you they are sitting on $9M of cash and got snookered by Matt. Stupid. I could do better.
Interesting. Thanks. So all the shoes haven't fallen yet.
Could someone please explain what is going on? What is it with all the sealed motions? Thanks.
The 2009 taxes have now been paid. Aret is making progress for sure.
Most likely. You better get out while you can.
I doubt Cryo-Cell would allow that truthfully. But it's an excellent question. Would love to see the agreement.
I wouldn't be surprised if Cryo-Cell thinks they can legally try to stop this deal they will try. I notice it allows both CBAI and Cryo-Cell Mexico to negotiate an out agreement with Cryo-Cell US.
I think this section of the 8K talks in code to Cryo-Cell Mexico ending it's relationship with Cryo-Cell.
(v) Seller or Purchaser reaches an agreement with one of Seller’s vendors as described in the Addendum hereto, with terms acceptable to Purchaser.

Certainly not Matt. Actually the answer is BCBS. As for the LOI announced yesterday, Matt wouldn't file an 8K if he didn't already have the funding locked up. I remind all that when Matt talked about the knock me over with a feather deal he also talked about getting a Strategic Investor. Looks to me like he did. One post a day here so see you tomorrow.
Just read the 8K. We're buying 100% of the company and it's mostly a cash transaction so very few shares. We must have found a strategic investor finally cause it's a lot of cash. We now will have over 100,000 stems stored worlwide and the announcement made clear more acquisitions are coming. Way to go Matt.
It sure makes Cryo-Cell look bad that we're buying one of there largest affiliates.
Take that CCEL. CBAI just bought your largest affiliate.

I'm not sure why they would tell you that because Campbell County doesn't think so and they would know. But I'm sure they will eventually since they are working on the filings we know now for sure.
http://www.ccgov.net/assessor/online/
Hey Oilbull. I checked yesterday and still not paid. I like the update they put out though. With the recent filing that shows they are alive and well. Thinking about buying back some but was hoping for a drop first. Might not happen. I still have some though.
Could happen quickly with the right acquisition. Hey Pit, you're always talking about hitting a new low. What is the 52 week low and high if you could? I'm wondering if we could hit both the same day.
And yes, I'm still sticking to my .03 by year-end. Tell Tom Thomas for me. LOL
Welcome Booger. If I was an investor in this company I'd be a supporter of a complete change in executive management. CBAI is kicking there butts.
Why are the people running this company sitting idly by while competetors are gobbling up other cord blood companies. They have $9M in cash and yet have done nothing to increase there market share. If you're not growing your going backwards. Which is what I think CCEL is doing.
Morning all. Been reading the Board and see we are down to a few trying to hold down the fort. Our time is coming soon.
Adultstem, I think we will be profitable much much quicker than most people here now think. Keep the faith. And yes, Matt is a great guy and someone you can trust is working as hard as he can to make our company a success. We're getting pretty close to Christmas. I would be surprised if we don't get great news very soon.
All have a great weekend.
Matt has said all along they were starting in a temporary facility and there could be some revenue this year. But it seems some things have changed along the way but not clear why or what yet. So my guess would be sometime in early 2011 before they start generating revs. They have a lot more to clear up about this arrangement and I expect them to do that faily soon.
Very little was said about the China deal with the recent announcement by CBAI. I would expect much more news on this either by the end of the year or early next year.
Only a fool would continue holding a stock they have no faith in and have no doubt it's going down more. The Longs obviously see it different and are holding for the time this company will be profitable and make major strides.
