Banks,
The truth is, which we did not know at the time, was that Qode was not near ready to be launched. Either TS or NEOM was misleading investors that it was much closer to reality.
On the positive side, News Corp is no dummy. They were laughed at for starting the FOX channels 10 or so years ago, and when they bought My Space. Now both are resounding success stories.
Rupert Murdoch and his people have a knack for seeing the future trends. This bodes well for NEOM.
As I have stated before this all will take more time than we would like, but I'm holding on for the long term payoff.
DannyJoe
For those who have the guts, and beleive in the tech, now is the time to buy more.
I'm going to try and scrape some cash together and buy more.
In my opinion it's way too late to be selling now.
I've been down alot on some other stocks and held on, and a year or two later I ended up making money. It defintely takes time and patience though.
To each his/her own to make the call.
DannyJoe
Sure do hope it happens. One of these days it will.
By the way, I wasn't trying to pick on you personally, or single you out.
DannyJoe
Still lurking, not posting very often.
I have an idea (not a new one). Why don't we all stop putting out dates and time frames as to when events are going to unfold regarding NEOM. September is over, and now the new speculation is "by the end of the year". The company doesn't give out any time lines I believe because they don't really know exact dates, so how would any of us know. It will happen when it happens or not.
I still own alot of shares, and still think this tech is going to be big "someday". New tech takes longer than we would like to be refined, and to catch on; so everyone might as well sit back and relax.
Until this company shows real revenue, positive cash flow, and eventually profits, or a huge partner, this stock share price ain't gonna go very far. I would love to be wrong, but I think we all know deep down inside that it's true.
Not trying to be a downer, just realistic in my expectations.
Oh, and just one more thing. Of course, this is JMHO.
DannyJoe
hssbwwmp,
Thanks for the very informative reply on the latest developments. Let's hope they follow thru and get rolling again.
DannyJoe
Question for anyone,
What is meant by a share cancellation, and potential RM?
Still holding a bunch of shares.
DannyJoe
Hey Hangdog,
Been away for a few days to New York & Cleveland. Would very much like to view your info. Thanks in advance.
DannyJoe
Gotta admit GONEOM,
I like your thoughts on viral marketing better than my own.
It's worth it to give existing customers a free coffee too if they are spreading the word about Starbucks, and bringing in new people.
DannyJoe
(After reading further into today's messages I see that others had similar thoughts on viral marketing.)
William,
I wonder if they aren't promoting on purpose to see what kind of responses they get by viral marketing.
If you are at the counter, you are already a customer.
They are interested in getting new people in to their stores to increase sales and profits.
The $5 gift card maybe a carrot to get the new person in the store with the hope that they become regulars.
JMHO
DannyJoe
Good point QCurt
I would hope that they will somehow release their results in all of the advertizer and mobile trade magazines.
For competitive reasons the info maybe very selective, but it would be nice to hear what kind of response numbers they got.
Still long and patient.
DannyJoe
Hey Midlife,
Now that is the kind of talk that should get all of us licking our chops. We NEOM shareholders know we are the future. Just a matter of time.
Great to hear from folks that are in the ad industry.
Just remember folks, It'll take a year, or two, or three. (To make the big money)
Be patient. It's gonna happen.
Waiting for that tipping point.
DannyJoe
Dr. Mike
You can add my 378,600 shares to the total.
And many thanks to all who attended the SHM, and gave us reports regarding the meeting.
Patiently long and strong.
DannyJoe
Beam,
I guess my point is that the company may not give specific reasons for all the shares that they are asking for the way we would like.
I hope I am wrong, because like everyone else, I want to know too.
I agree 100% that policy changes are in order. I think options should only be awarded for performance as I stated in an earlier post.
Perception is reality, and officers should not be selling when the stock is struggling. This scares off new shareholders, and makes current ones nervous.
DannyJoe
Steeler,
I think that statement in the proxy is the answer everyone has been looking for. It's just that no one will accept it on face value.
I believe NEOM doesn't want to go thru all the trouble to get more shares every time they need them, so they just decided to go for a large amount one time, and take the heat once.
They state flatly what they want the shares for; future acquisitions, options and warrants, current convertible stock needs, and possible future dividends, and or splits.
There it is folks. Simple as it can get.
I doubt if we will get a whole more than that at the SHM.
DannyJoe
Great post YJ,
Tonight on the Nightly Business Report it was reported that Google stated that they were optomistic about future growth.
The big statement was that they intend to grow with partnerships rather than aquisitions.
Let's hope that NEOM is in on some of that action.
Google is smart. They don't want to own things that they can't be the best at, but still want to be in on all the new things that come along.
That's another reason why I hope we get a deal with Google.
Go NEOM !!!
DannyJoe
cjzak
My concern is that by having so many outstanding shares, is that even when NEOM starts to make money the share price won't go up that much because of the huge amount of shares.
The only solution I see is for NEOM to make tons of money so that they can buy back shares to get the P/E ratio at a reasonable level.
If that doesn't happen I don't see how the share price is going to go up.
Having said all of that, I don't see alot of other options at this point for the company. I believe that the large gorillas have passed on NEOM, and that is how the new "super company" strategy was born.
What's your take on this?
DannyJoe
cjzak
2 words for you---- RIGHT ON!!!!!
DannyJoe
edster,
I absolutley agree with you about options needing to be curbed. We need performance first, and then options.
This company should not be run like a family oligarky when we have over 13,500 shareholders now.
This is a publicly owned company whose owners happen to be all of those shareholders, not just the few running the company.
It is time to tell us what the plan is, and then to achieve those stated results.
DannnyJoe
Andrew138
I agree that all this share dilution will be disatrous unless there is one hell of a good reason for it.
We can't keep buying up companies with little revenue for stock, and expect to survive.
We need to get cashflow positive ASAP to fund our operations and growth. Billions and billions of shares aint gonna cut it.
The giving of options, and free shares need to be reined in also. I favor options for performance only, not options for breathing.
I'm not happy that board members get 1,000,000 shares each year as their payment for being on the board. Seems excessive to me, and hopefully has or will be changed.
DannyJoe
YJ- Yes it is very disappointing when things don't go as planned. I have way too many of my eggs in the NEOM basket, and at times I get concerned also. (378,000 shares)
I am starting to think that all the 20% equity partners may have passed, or that if Microsoft is the one then it has been postponed until Vista comes out early next year.
Or maybe no one wants to commit early, and wants to wait and see how this all plays out before throwing a bunch of money at the mobile space. Of course this conservative strategy may cost them alot more money down the road.
This may have forced NEOM to change strategies, and may explain the buying of these other companies rather than sit around for another year or so and fall behind in the mobile arena.
The fact that all of the companies we bought accepted stock as the majority payment may be explained by their anemic revenue. All the companies involved are financially weak, and
we are all betting that they can be at the table when mobile marketing goes mainstream.
I do want answers from the ASM as to what the deal is regarding the future of our company, and am prepared to wait it out if all seems feasible.
DannyJoe
No offense NeomRocket, but I believe it will take longer than you think for this revolution to take off. It always takes much longer than people think for new things to get hot and take off.
I still think NEOM is in a great position, but it is going to take a couple more years.
We have alot of disgruntled share holders now because they thought they were going to be rich by now. You can't wish it to happen sooner.
DannyJoe
success,
I went back and reread Cabernet's post # 65678. To me it sounds like the PP is proposing a better solution to Google's advertising model.
One of his points of improvement sound like they have elements of Neom's Payperclick in them such as eliminating click fraud.
The consumer would be requesting info rather than be
bombarded by ads.
At the end of the article he asks,
"Who should or could implement this application? Google, Amazon, PayPal, or Visionary Innovations"
"If you have the ability to implement advertising on the internet, and are interested in a revolutionary idea, email me"
Who or what is visionary innovatons? Is he calling out to Neom or other companies in mobile marketing?
DannyJoe
I'm wondering if we all are misinterpreting the comments by PP. The article was talking about Google and pay per click, which is their method of payment from advertisers. They get paid for each click on an advertisement.
That's totally different from our Payperclick regarding Neom.
They sound the same but are not the same thing.
Am I all wet here or what? Comments anyone?
DannyJoe
SS
Sounds like Neom with a new nameplate slapped on it.
All I can say is they better be a partner, or have a license.
Otherwise it's lawsuit city.
Having a huge partner to scare off patent infringers may prove to be the best reason to have a huge partner.
We need all these mobile companies to give up the ghost, and realize that the patents are ours, and to give NEOM a call.
There's plenty of revenue for everybody, they just need to give us ours(license)first so they can go out and make theirs.
DannyJoe
Aktien,
If you bought NEOM to make a quick buck, you might as well sell now and move on. This is not going to happen overnight.
Just a reality check.
DannyJoe
Yep Doc
I agree about the T. Smith thing. That's how I found about it.
DannyJoe
PVC
You have to remember that most investors won't touch OTC stocks. They are just too risky for the average investor.
It's kind of the which came first, the chicken or the egg.
Investors want to see either big partnerships or big earnings.
Right now we have neither.
Main stream buying won't happen until after we all have made alot of money already. They jump on the bandwagon after it's moving pretty fast.
IMHO- For this stock to start moving you will have to see a large deal of some kind with a large company for short term gains.
For longer term gains you will have to wait for better and better earnings for this stock to move.
It always takes longer for these things to happen than we would like. Personally I think it will take another year or two to see some big gains. (Would love to be wrong!)
None of this info is new, but PVC asked for a dose of reality, so there it is. I own several hundred thousand shares myself, so no one wants this baby to go up more than I do.
Don't expect too much to soon so you can keep your sanity.
DannyJoe
8,8's
Thanks for the great info.
Thanks also to all the other DDer's on this amazing board.
Go NEOM!!!!

I have worked in the automotive industry, and I can tell you that Toyota and Honda are very picky and exacting.
If Toyota has given approval to use our paint product solution, that is very good news.
GO NEOM!!!!
DannyJoe
Gillette didn't know what they didn't know about moblile marketing. That fact, and the coming acquisition by P&G made everyone unwilling to stick their necks out.
Someone could have given their career a big boost if they had taken a chance, but big business doesn't always reward that behavior.
Huge oppourtunity was allowed to slip away. Their loss.
They'll catch up now that P&G owns them.
Good try Hip Cricket.
DannyJoe
I think he is miffed that mobile marketing was not used to it's full potential. He is missing the point of the show.
The teams are given a task with a few tools and a short span of time to do it. It's up to the team to come up with a plan to win.
Now if the team member's were sharp enough to know about companies like Hipcricket, maybe they could have gotten help from them to do something. The problem is limited time, and remember, this show was taped last fall 2005.
PP's expectations were way too high for this show to highlight mobile marketing at it's best.
Don't really appreciate his harsh review.
DannyJoe
You are correct sir.
Trump even commented at the beginning of the segment that he had no idea what text messaging was. He did say that many younger business people conduct business anywhere, anytime on their phone. It's something they all grew up with, but not the older generation like Trump. (It's coming though, IMO).
They showed Ivanka (Trump's daughter) smile and chuckle when Trump said what do I know about this text messaging thing.
DannyJoe
Cabbie,
Right on.
Microsoft may be missing the boat again if this new device is way too large to carry around at all times. You better be able to fold this sucker up, and put in your pocket or the younger people won't want it. It sounds like a smaller version of a lap top.
We want to be on the billions of cell phones out there. That's where our bread and butter will be.
Contrary to popular belief, SIZE DOES MATTER.
DannyJoe
Oh no!
More whiners, complainers, know it alls, etc., etc. coming our way soon. Will need more iggys.
Waiting patiently for NEOM to get things going.
DannyJoe
I was going to try to be the 50,000th poster, but I was dinking around too long. Congrats Zacked!
I remember reading the 10,000th post, and thinking Wow!
I must have too much time on my hands this week being off work.
Thanks to all for the time and effort this past year.
Happy New Year to all !!! It's gonna be fun.
DannyJoe
Edster,
I can't for the life of me figure out why Verizon would want to do anything with scambuy when they have to know that Neom has the patents for the mobile space. This would be silly of them to do that.
I think Verizon is fully aware of Neom, and I wander if the private company Scambuy is just trying to puff themselves up to sound more legitimate. Remember, being a private company allows them to say what ever they want.
Now if I'm wrong and Verizon doesn't know about Neom, then somebody better let them know immediately.
DannyJoe
Doc,
Why so pesimistic?
DannyJoe
Hello JP
Can't wait to hear your evaluation of the SHM. Bring it on!!!
DannyJoe
I thought there was supposed to be a word auction in January? Is that still on, or has it been postponed, or scrapped? I remember us all talking about millions of dollars in revenue from that alone.
DannyJoe
Personalizit,
My take is that at this start up and growth phase NEOM needs revenues and cashflow to stay in the game until the so called tipping point.
The great thing is that NEOM is alot like Mister Softee in that it's costs are relatively fixed no matter how many companies and people adopt our technology. We have a moat of patents around us to bring everyone to NEOM.
NEOM doesn't have to go out and buy steel, plastics, wood, or any other resource for it's products.
I agree though, at some later point you have to see profits or the stock price cannot be supported at a much higher level that we all want to see.
DannyJoe
