Ive seen no better gov. system for the fostering, development and rapid deployment of technological advances than a nationalist socialist totalitarian dictatorship And Ive seen no worse than capitalism beyond tribalism.
This might appear to play right into the weigo deal. Since China is a mining hub for rare earth elements there might be a conflict of interest to keep the medical industry purchasing chinese mined tantalum cobalt and zirconium by securing an exclusive deal for Silicon Nitride medical devices vs. just wanting to take a peek at the material quality for aerospace applications. Maybe China Just really did take for ever to do nothing on that deal or Amedica was to blame for being flakey.
Like I said, show me a Bal connected to Zimmer and I`ll show you a Zimmer that should have known all their material issues from a detailed report on those issues written by Bal. Might be important in the law suits.
There are 17 rare earth elements
While often confused with the Rare Earth Elements (REEs) and Minerals (REMs) (1), the Rare Metals and Metalloids (RMs) are different. RMs share some common features but they are seldom found together.
A Visit to the Only American Mine for Rare Earth Metals
Tungsten, tantalum and rare-earth elements (REEs) have started to emerge as “critical” global metals
The critical rare metals (RMs) and metalloids discussed in this section are niobium, tantalum, cobalt, indium, zirconium, gallium, and lithium
Because tantalum is a rare element, only making up 1–2 ppm of the Earth’s crust by weight

Not an attempt to pump. Ive been RS down to .3 shares

Just an I told you so. Since inferior material concerns are legit.
Don't worry Daddy Zimmer is silently waiting in the wings biding their time to eventually save the plebeians from the dangers of their own devices. You just wait and see. I call BS.
Probably multiple forces at work here. Companies that DO want a superior product developed to take market share. Other companies that DONT want a superior product developed to take market share away. Hard to decipher the DO's and the DON'T's. You`d think the DO's would have incentive to throw this poor old dog a bone. But may come in the form of Joint development funding partnerships and there's evidence this development may be confidential. My bet is on companies looking to oust the current king Biolox delta. My bet is companies currently listed being a stronger candidate. Kyocera comes to mind here.
If it took 5 years to launch biolox delta. Then the timeline on SiNi suggests if they're involved theyre lagging this behind on purpose. Or, worse attempting to stifle the competition while alluding to involvement and desperately trying to come up with a competing alternative or something better.
Found something that might be interesting here Boston.
So we're talking the Geometry of the bone interface of the CTL designs? "TiCro™ surface technology" I cant find anything to suggests this isnt a meaningless buzzword unless theyre talking about the geometry of the bone interface. Unless there's something Im not getting here about the bone interface geometry of CTL designs I would be devoting the resources to Coating screws or brazing tech. to create SiNi porosity over a Titanium scaffold for the guys afraid of the idea "ceramics shatter" (hurr durr on that smash it with an industrial hydraulic press then. but maybe porous doesnt yield the same strength and can benefit from the tensile strengths of a metal scaffold. )
Scanning the highlights it looks like CTL is pushing product. Sounds like they burnt through back inventory relatively quickly. That would mean SiNi is getting into the hands of spine patients that can benefit(No thanks to Zimmer,so far Boston).
Could have averaged down yesterday and sold the shares purchased but that adds dilution, if you had a crystal ball,But If you actually believe in a product then why hurt a company like that?
Oh good. Saw the price and figured they needed it to recover to hold over $1 to keep the dreams of dilution going. Glad it's the company fundamentally recovering to keep the tech. at play.
I think this can go below $1 before October. Before they get the next round of dilution fired off. Too many RS and Dilution may have had reaction of lost all faith as an investment. Could create a situation where the company could be bought up for chump change. Perhaps no offers and SiNi tech. stagnates to keep inferior products at play.
Something that is also interesting could be noted and might be relevant is the application of marine grade plywood then fiber glassing with polyester resin and fiber glass cloth. Then applying a indoor/ outdoor carpet glue and outdoor carpeting. This seems like a standard process in design of carpeted boat decks. In application this immediately grew mushrooms from the carpet, due to the humid environment combining this with a boat cover to create an optimal environment for wood loving mushroom growth. these mushrooms must be consuming the outdoor rated carpet glue as a food source as there's no way to penetrate or utilize the fiberglass and resin layers to the wood core thus compromising the structural integrity of the deck. The carpet is then used as a water containing medium for mycelium growth.
Premium marine carpet does include a rubber backing that would mitigate unsightly mushrooms popping out of your boat carpet. But this is premium. Boat manufacturers will opt for the lower grade of non backed carpet. Since main stream hardware stores only offer a non backed out door carpet there must be other applications beyond boat decks where the issue could arise in situations that create an optimal environment for mushroom growth. Whether temporary or permanent.
Thus an overlooked issue is left unmitigated creating opportunity.
Imagine as a new boat owner plopping down $50k on your new boat and shortly having mushrooms grow out of the carpet. Potentially exposing the corners cut not using a carpet with a backing implying low quality craftmanship and leaving an unhappy customer either way.
With a mushroom issue.
When this issue could be easily resolved with a doping of an antimicrobial agent into the outdoor carpet glue. I imagine the go to for a doping agent is Copper sulfate pentahydrate due to cost. But would this leach a blue color staining into the carpet? This seems like low hanging fruit. Money just sitting there waiting for the taking on unfiled patent royalties for a superior outdoor carpet glue no matter what element makes it antimicrobial to prevent mushroom growth and mitigate potential structural damage due to wood decomposition from mycelium when applied to wood structuring.
The one I got is lowest price possible and store branded "in store brand" so it's difficult to determine what company manufacture it.
"We proudly manufacture this topper right here in the USA"
Like the kitchen sponge the Bordeaux mix containing copper would have to compete with copper in cost of manufacture or show an advantage that justified cost. Somebody would have to put the leg work into studying then promoting and manufacture and sales. Right now there's no indication I've seen presented of the "shelf life" of the antimicrobial properties. This is something that should be addressed. is it permanent semi-permanent or fades relatively quickly compared to competing elements such as silver or copper.
Seems like one advantage would be what I perceive as an environmentally friendly and less hazardous advantage compared to bordeaux mix and potential copper poisoning of land animals and people. Another advantage might be the ability to wash silicon nitride off the surface of grain restoring it to a relatively unadulterated state unlike water soluble solutions. May be an interesting characteristic when considering both agricultural applications and crop storage.
You mentioned you got one right around the time I did. I used mine for craft foam for boat bumpers. A marine grade craft foam has antifungal properties. Not sure who needs anti microbial properties more. A foam to sleep on or a foam exposed to a marine environment. I opted for no antimicrobial properties to sacrifice superior build for cost, But found it interesting they where pulling the non antimicrobial mattress toppers to replace them with antimicrobial copper doped.
Since the antimicrobial properties of silicon nitride is a relatively new scientific discovery I ponder it's various potential applications.
Does your foam mattress topper have antimicrobial properties? Pretty easy to make foam. Just mix part a and part b with some water and it explodes into giant foams. Then cut. This process is pretty standard in 3rd world mattress production. They don't have expensive spring mattress factories I guess. So a slab of this foam is cheaper and the go to mattress.
This does very little to ease the fear of the potential for motivation of the company for free cash from toxic finance with no other motive, it only suggests Zimmer involvement. I dont know how this helps unless you own stock in Zimmer.
I did not buy here on the allusions of 2 to 1 Zimmer. I bought here on the scientific data of superior tech. combined with a highly oversold stock. This requires a company that attempts to run a company and operates in the best interest of the company and shareholder. Perhaps the suckling of a stream of never ending free cash is within the companies best interests. Let's downsize to nothing to optimize the value of this cash flow.
I'm suspecting the last CEO was wrongfully removed from his position to make room for what we're seeing in the tract record here since Bal's admission a corporate hijacking to make room for the RS and dilution sold on the back of hopes and dreams of substantial real world tech. There's absolutely no reason for a company with this potential and research to back it up to be struggling at this stage unless it was their manifested destiny. IPO was the worst mistake of his life i`ll bet.
CTL is unlisted. If they want to keep the lights on they have to run a company. Unlike suckling at the cash teat of toxic finance. Chon has proven the core of anything developed here can be obtained by throwing a bone. Core tech. is not a prized possession. The prized possession is rounds of RS and dilution. SAD
The hard feelings here come from not the loss of capital as you should have seen it coming. Only a fool does the same thing over and over expecting different results.
The hard feelings come from what could have been without the allure of a free lunch from Toxic financing. It took something from our country.Essentially SINTX hand sits as a hollowed out shell of what it could have been waiting for the next round of breast feeding from the cash teats of toxic finance in the form of RS and dilution. IT seems clear they have no other goals in life.
The only thing that doesnt exist at CTL is hopes and dreams and hopes and dreams of joint partnerships. Looks like they made their choice. The actions here state the big money here is to be made on RS and dilution through toxic finance.
No wonder mutually beneficial agreements have never come to fruition here. The problem is the idea of mutually beneficial and a lack of understanding as a concept. The reputation here I rate poor. would not hang out with and untrustworthy based on the tract record of acting in the shareholders best interest, lack of execution and flaking out constantly. Looks like a paper mill trying to sell you a big bag of what pans out to be RS and diluted into extinction.
and they magically stop counting when they get what they want. Approval on the split instead of accepting the original 3 voting rounds answer of No and nobody cares. Really does great things for their reputation as a co. what theyre doing to their shareholders here since their IPO. very little press release and constant rounds of dilution and RS in my opinion. Great product. Horrible Company. Glad everything now exists at CTL. Sounds like theyre a real co. that doesn't hand sit and make a living playing games on NASDAQ
No bugs no Amazon accounts. It's just a coincidence you where searching for a mattress topper, Im assuming. Did you get one with the antimicrobial properties?
That's along the lines of what that post was about. Is it a coincidence I make that post on doping foam with antimicrobe properties and they just happen to be phasing out non antimicrobial mattress toppers around the same time??...or are the two linked? Looked for the post in my history but couldnt find it. It's something about boats and mold antimicrobial foam and vinyl for marine application..antifouling agents and had a link to a hospital antimicrobial pillow.
The other competing big box store with a large supply of floor space is offering both versions. Copper doped and non copper doped and nothing was on sale.
If the antimicrobial infused properties of foam are beneficial in a marine environment why did I, as a consumer, not choose the copper doped version? Economy. It didn't seem like a sound financial choice to spend the additional amount of money on an old boat I`m trying to keep in a certain budget range. This budget cap is hit and you`re better off buying a better boat instead of fixing up a trash boat. I did consider misting this foam with a copper sulfate solution and letting it dry in the sun to attempt to dope it. Possibly could work but risk of not working and bleeding out as solution. But just forgot and didnt.
If money where no object I could have afforded to do it better. Such as the difference between an old bass boat vs. a gold plated yacht. Something has to be there to command the price difference.
Something that happened here I logged but did not post because I was busy.
I needed foam for a boat project to upholster bumper rails. Craft foam is way too pricey. So I got away with using a mattress topper as craft foam since a poor quality mattress topper is much cheaper.
With this on my mind, since marine grade foam is very pricey and benefit is it's mold resistant and hospital grade bedding is also antimicrobial, I posted here about the prospects of these two industries with antimicrobial antifungal Silicon Nitride.
When I went to pull the trigger on a mattress topper they where on sale. But unfortunately out of inventory. They where on sale to eliminate and make room for the exact same product from the same manufacturer at this box chain store..(Completely eliminating the supply of the inferior product at this retailer) Except 1.5X the price of the original product. WHY? An upgrade in the product. A feature they introduced that they felt could command an increase in price of %50 the original value.
Agreed. In regards to implants mechanical wear would act as the "polishing agent" to remove silicon dioxide and expose fresh silicon nitride. However can we be completely sure of this given silicon nitrides extreme hardness. I guess we can since there's discussion of silicon nitride wear particulate.
My questions here are mainly regarding novel uses beyond implants such as:antibacterial door knob coatings. Antibacterial, antifungal doped plastics, rubbers and paints. Coatings on personal massagers as antiviral antifungal coatings. Facial masks for acne. Foot creams for fungus. Potential for antifungal doped shoe insoles etc.
it seems he suggests this leaching of ammonia species occurs from a wet silicon nitride surface. Is this suggesting dry applications would not induce the antimicrobial characteristics? For things like facial masks for acne this may be a benefit if so since I assume it would have an infinite shelf life until wetted and thus activated causing the eventual full decay to silicon dioxide where I would consider it spent.
In shoe insoles this may be beneficial since bacteria and fungus need moisture to replicate. If silicon nitride lays dormant until it's antimicrobial properties are activated through moisture.
So shelf life seems important here.
In a fully aqueous environment how long do these antifungal antiviral etc. properties exist until we can consider the material fully expended to a point where these properties are no longer useful or expressed?
-------
I also wonder if contact polishing on things such as door knobs would be enough to polish off the silicon dioxide layer thus exposing the underlying silicon nitride and restoring its antimicrobial benefits. Contact polishing IE touch something often enough with a bare hand and it eventually polishes.
This is important in the progression of the scientific dataset. This isnt simply a rehashing of what we already know. It suggest silicon nitride shares the same properties of Rediheal. But does it better having antiviral antibacterial characteristics.
It also suggests something about acne and possibly SINI as a treatment:
Also holding it all in RH accounts would be pretty epic levels of obfuscation coming from these guys. Highly intelligent guys in my opinion. Dont mind admitting that on the losing end. "so then bob..bob.. We put it all in ROBIN HOOD accounts!...LOLZ"
The fact the RS dilute game is being threatened by the shareholder vote and their cash cow might die on a delist? Just as easy to run a pump and dump as a short and distort. The rubber banned has been stretched on RSI in the downward direction whatever the true share price equilibrium might be. Looks like they control the gas and the brakes so it's their call in my opinion.
1.8m looks to be a break from the narrative. They where supposed to dilute AFTER RS. 1.8M is either enough to ride out a storm to 1.00 with no RS if the shorts decide they mind losing the cash cow or it's the last gasp to grab 1.8M out the door on their way to OTC.
I assume they can continue this game of selling these rounds of dilution off and RS on OTC? I dunno, this game is new to me. I`m used to normal stocks, with indicators and institutional investing. Lots learned here about this other world of penny stocks and stock legitimate institutes wouldnt touch with a ten foot pole.
