So it's interesting something associated with low quality cheapest possible revamped itself to phase out all non antimicrobial versions of it's foam. This one specific appears to utilize raw copper metal to dope it's foam whereas I believe the blue foam is doped with copper sulfate pentahydrate which attributes it's blue color. but this is all assumption based on appearance.

Very interesting thought on Nasa. The idea of a space station being infected with dangerous mold or someone introducing the flu. Considering you`re trapped in a box and there's no gravity to hold disease or mold spores down. I imagine they float and cause more infection. Would definitely put all passengers in quarantine then decontaminate everything before letting them touching my space stations. Same thing goes for naval vessels except with gravity in place I guess
