Probably multiple forces at work here. Companies that DO want a superior product developed to take market share. Other companies that DONT want a superior product developed to take market share away. Hard to decipher the DO's and the DON'T's. You`d think the DO's would have incentive to throw this poor old dog a bone. But may come in the form of Joint development funding partnerships and there's evidence this development may be confidential. My bet is on companies looking to oust the current king Biolox delta. My bet is companies currently listed being a stronger candidate. Kyocera comes to mind here.

If it took 5 years to launch biolox delta. Then the timeline on SiNi suggests if they're involved theyre lagging this behind on purpose. Or, worse attempting to stifle the competition while alluding to involvement and desperately trying to come up with a competing alternative or something better.
