Something that happened here I logged but did not post because I was busy.

I needed foam for a boat project to upholster bumper rails. Craft foam is way too pricey. So I got away with using a mattress topper as craft foam since a poor quality mattress topper is much cheaper.

With this on my mind, since marine grade foam is very pricey and benefit is it's mold resistant and hospital grade bedding is also antimicrobial, I posted here about the prospects of these two industries with antimicrobial antifungal Silicon Nitride.

When I went to pull the trigger on a mattress topper they where on sale. But unfortunately out of inventory. They where on sale to eliminate and make room for the exact same product from the same manufacturer at this box chain store..(Completely eliminating the supply of the inferior product at this retailer) Except 1.5X the price of the original product. WHY? An upgrade in the product. A feature they introduced that they felt could command an increase in price of %50 the original value.

Copper is anti-viral and anti-bacterial element which can help keep your mattress topper clean

Coincidence? am I suffering from schizophrenia assuming the timing of my post and this sudden shift in inventory? Or is it their job to read a market?
