What purpose dos the suit really serve? It kept retail hopeful and holding while years went by. Probably attracted a large Reddit crowd now left holding the bag. That's my take.

Sounds like a lot of conjecture to me on very little information available about what has transpired behind the scenes in gathering data, etc., for the past 5-7 years.

Maybe you are not yet well informed about who Cofer Black is, what he has done in the past for his country and the connections he has at a very high level that he has built up because of this.
Hopefully but also very likely he has also built up some help at higher levels with his knowledge, proven services and experiences.
Don't you think that could help our case?
I think in any case that he did not join the BOD of NWBO for nothing or only to collect data.
