I am well aware that any and all litigation requires experts in the related field for the suit to gather evidence and often times give testimony. Its Posners job to advise NW, study last case law, file legal docs, and ultimately, after all is said and done, convince a jury to convict....something she is very good at. But I suspect if MTD is denied, this case will never see a courtroom. It will be buried with a settlement.

NW could have done all this without the assistance of Mr. Black. There is either a legal basis for the civil suit or not. Black didnt convince Ms. Posner to take the case. She is bright enough to make that decision on her own.
