Distraught from the recent MSM attacks which culminated in a metaphysical drumming from an Alec Baldwin led SNL skit, Alex Jones took to the airwaves and web tubes and challenged the oldest Baldwin brother to a charity boxing tournament. Later Alex realized he was wrong to challenge the weaponized artistic virtual signaling spewing from the ratings diminished (unless it's a show about Trump) SNL and issued this public [non-]apology to Alec Baldwin.

During his news conference on Monday, Press Secretary Sean Spicer referred to “numerous reports from a variety of outlets” in an effort to build a case that President Trump’s tweetstorm accusing President Obama of wiretapping him before the election wasn’t a total fabrication.
Spicer also tried to spin Trump’s tweets - one of which plainly said “I’d bet a good lawyer could make a great case out of the fact that President Obama was tapping my phone in October, just prior to Election!” - as referring to “wiretapping” figuratively, not literally.
Kellyanne Conway continued to promote President Donald Trump’s unsubstantiated claim that his predecessor, Barack Obama, ordered wiretapping of his communications during the campaign by citing “microwaves that turn into cameras” as a possible source of surveillance.
In an interview with the Bergen County Record on Sunday, Trump’s counselor claimed without evidence that the supposed wiretapping could have gone further and suggested that one method of surveillance could include “microwaves that turn into cameras.”
“What I can say is there are many ways to surveil each other now, unfortunately,” Conway said in response to a question about the wiretapping claims. “There was an article this week that talked about how you can surveil someone through their phones, through their — certainly through their television sets, any number of different ways, and microwaves that turn into cameras, etc., so we know that that is just a fact of modern life.”
To find President Trump's all-time greatest tweet, Hasan Minhaj and Roy Wood Jr. ask viewers to pit his comments against each other in an online bracket tournament.

Before he became president, Donald J. Trump called climate change a hoax, questioned the safety of vaccines and mocked renewable energy as a plaything of “tree-huggers.”
So perhaps it is no surprise that Mr. Trump’s first budget took direct aim at basic scientific and medical research.
Still, the extent of the cuts in the proposed budget unveiled early Thursday shocked scientists, researchers and program administrators. The reductions include $5.8 billion, or 18 percent, from the National Institutes of Health, which fund thousands of researchers working on cancer and other diseases, and $900 million, or a little less than 20 percent, from the Department of Energy’s Office of Science, which funds the national laboratories, considered among the crown jewels of basic research in the world.
In a developing story, Trump national security adviser Sebastian Gorka is reportedly a life-long member of Hungarian nazi-tied group Vitézi Rend, a fact which he failed to disclose while becoming a U.S. citizen in 2012.
According to a report originally filed by The Forward published on Thursday, Gorka was confirmed as a member of the Nazi-allied group by a chief officer of the organization.
When Gorka was asked by Buzzfeed News for comment, he refused to answer and told them to “send a request to White House press.”
Having a card-carrying Nazi associate advising the president is clearly a major issue, but even beyond that, it appears that Gorka failed to disclose his membership during his immigration process to the United States in 2012. This is clear because had he disclosed his association with Vitézi Rend, he would not have been allowed entry into the United States.

Hiding Details of Dubious Deal, U.S. Invokes National Security FEB. 19, 2011 WASHINGTON — For eight years, government officials turned to Dennis Montgomery, a California computer programmer, for eye-popping technology that he said could catch terrorists. Now, federal officials want nothing to do with him and are going to extraordinary lengths to ensure that his dealings with Washington stay secret. The Justice Department, which in the last few months has gotten protective orders from two federal judges keeping details of the technology out of court, says it is guarding state secrets that would threaten national security if disclosed. But others involved in the case say that what the government is trying to avoid is public embarrassment over evidence that Mr. Montgomery bamboozled federal officials. A onetime biomedical technician with a penchant for gambling, Mr. Montgomery is at the center of a tale that features terrorism scares, secret White House briefings, backing from prominent Republicans, backdoor deal-making and fantastic-sounding computer technology. Interviews with more than two dozen current and former officials and business associates and a review of documents show that Mr. Montgomery and his associates received more than $20 million in government contracts by claiming that software he had developed could help stop Al Qaeda’s next attack on the United States. But the technology appears to have been a hoax, and a series of government agencies, including the Central Intelligence Agency [ http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/organizations/c/central_intelligence_agency/index.html ] and the Air Force [ http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/organizations/a/us_air_force/index.html ], repeatedly missed the warning signs, the records and interviews show. Tuesday, March 21st 2017[, with an appearance by Roger Stone]: Trump Pushes Obamacare Repeal - Tune in as we report on how President Trump is pressuring Congress to find a way to repeal Obamacare, which has transferred wealth from the Middle Class to the private, off-shore banks who wrote the law. Also, the FBI says it's probing Infowars and Breitbart as part of the Dem-fueled Russian witch hunt. The Dems are so desperate in their witch hunt that they're even attacking Trump for adopting Obama's Ukraine policies.

Trump Offers No Apology for Claim on British Spying - further to http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=129606504 WASHINGTON — President Trump refused to back down on Friday after his White House aired an unverified claim that Britain’s spy agency secretly monitored him during last year’s campaign at the behest of President Barack Obama. Although his aides in private conversations since Thursday night had tried to calm British officials who were livid over the claim, Mr. Trump made clear that he felt the White House had nothing to retract or apologize for. He said his spokesman was simply repeating an assertion made by a Fox News commentator. [...] https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/17/world/europe/trump-britain-obama-wiretap-gchq.html
House Intelligence panel does not reveal whether documents substantiate Trump’s wiretap claim The House Intelligence Committee did not reveal on Friday night the answer to the question of whether Justice Department documents substantiate President Trump’s claim that he was wiretapped by the Obama administration, as he has claimed. The committee had asked for copies of any warrants, applications, or court orders relating to a wiretap of Trump or his surrogates and affiliates in advance of a Monday hearing at which the FBI and NSA directors are expected to testify about alleged connections between the Trump team and Russian authorities. Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) avoided the big question by releasing a statement late Friday that said his panel is “satisfied” that DOJ “has fully complied” with its request related to “possible surveillance” of Trump and his associates. Nunes said the CIA and FBI had not yet provided information that was requested “that is necessary to determine whether information collected on U.S. persons was mishandled and leaked.” The chairman added that the NSA had “partially met our request” and pledged to fully meet it by the end of next week. Trump Continues U.S. Use of Special Forces, Keeping Wars at Arm’s Length MARA, Chad — From Yemen to Syria to here in Central Africa, the Trump administration is relying on Special Operations forces to intensify its promised fight against the Islamic State and other terrorist groups as senior officials embrace an Obama-era strategy to minimize the American military’s footprint overseas. In Africa, President Trump is expected to soon approve a Pentagon proposal to remove constraints on Special Operations airstrikes and raids in parts of Somalia to target suspected militants with the Shabab, an extremist group linked to Al Qaeda. Critics say that the change — in one of the few rejections of President Barack Obama’s guidelines for the elite forces — would bypass rules that seek to prevent civilian deaths from drone attacks and commando operations. But in their two months in office, Trump officials have shown few other signs that they want to back away from Mr. Obama’s strategy to train, equip and otherwise support indigenous armies and security forces to fight their own wars instead of having to deploy large American forces to far-flung hot spots. “Africans are at war; we’re not,” said Col. Kelly Smith, 47, a Green Beret commander who fought in Iraq and Afghanistan and was a director of a counterterrorism exercise in Chad this month involving about 2,000 African and Western troops and trainers. “But we have a strategic interest in the success of partners.” [...] https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/19/world/africa/trump-special-forces-navy-seals.html

With friends like these: Trump struggles to win GOP - AP WASHINGTON — Congressional Republicans have a lot to say about their new president. Donald Trump’s proposed budget is “draconian, careless and counterproductive.” The health care plan is a bailout that won’t pass. And his administration’s suggestion that former President Barack Obama used London’s spy agency for surveillance is simply “inexplicable.” With friends like these, who needs Democrats? Less than two months in, Republicans have emerged as one of the biggest obstacles to Trump’s young administration, imperiling his early efforts to pass his agenda and make good on some of his biggest campaign promises. Trump’s embrace of a House GOP plan to overhaul the country’s health system faces deep opposition from across the party, as does his push to get U.S. taxpayers to pay for a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border. Republicans largely rejected his thin, 53-page first budget, joking that there’s a “fat chance for skinny budget” on Capitol Hill. And his tax reform and infrastructure plans have yet to gain any real traction in Congress. Trump insisted on Friday that he is leading a party that is coalescing behind him. Kazuo Ishiguro: 'We’re coming close to the point where we can create people who are superior to others' - tie in particular to http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=126997323 Social changes unleashed by new technologies could undermine core human values unless we engage with science, warns author Imagine a two-tiered society with elite citizens, genetically engineered to be smarter, healthier and to live longer, and an underclass of biologically run-of-the-mill humans. It sounds like the plot of a dystopian novel, but the world could be sleepwalking towards this scenario, according to one of Britain’s most celebrated writers. Kazuo Ishiguro argues that the social changes unleashed by gene editing technologies, such as Crispr, could undermine core human values. “We’re going into a territory where a lot of the ways in which we have organised our societies will suddenly look a bit redundant,” he said. “In liberal democracies, we have this idea that human beings are basically equal in some very fundamental way. This is the official, full-length (89 min) version of our 2009 movie, The Age of Stupid. This film was made completely independently (we arguably invented crowd-funding to fund it) over five long years. Thanks v much and enjoy the film, Franny & Lizzie from Spanner Films - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The Age of Stupid stars Oscar-nominated Pete Postlethwaite (In The Name of the Father, The Usual Suspects, Brassed Off) as a man living in the devastated future world of 2055, looking back at old footage from our time and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance? Launched at a Guinness World Recording-winning solar-powered premiere in London's Leicester Square, the film was released in cinemas worldwide, topped the UK box office (by screen average), became one of the most talked-about films of 2009 and garnered sensational reviews: The Telegraph called it "Bold, supremely provocative and hugely important", the News of the World described it as "A deeply inconvenient kick up the backside", ABC Australia said "So tightly constructed and dynamic you leave the cinema energised rather than terrified... hits home like a hammer blow" and the LA Times said "Think 'An Inconvenient Truth', but with a personality". Multi-award-winning documentary director Franny Armstrong (McLibel, Drowned Out) and Oscar-winning producer John Battsek (One Day In September, Restrepo) pioneered the now ubiquitous "crowd-funding" model to finance the film, and then spent four years following seven real people's stories to be interweaved with Pete Postlethwaite's fictional character: an Indian entrepreneur struggling to start a new low-cost airline, a Shell employee in New Orleans who rescued more than 100 people during Hurricane Katrina, an 82-year-old French mountain guide watching his beloved glaciers melt, two Iraqi refugee children searching for their elder brother, a young woman living in desperate poverty in Nigeria's richest oil area and a windfarm developer in Britain battling the NIMBYs who don't want his turbines to spoil their view. The Age of Stupid led to the formation of the 10:10 carbon reduction campaign which now operates in 45 countris (www.1010global.org). Recognising the film's unique contribution to independent filmmaking, the Huffington Post said that it "represents the future of film, film culture and film distribution and marketing". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=va_MVxpboqg [since gone dark - find another if possible] [though it clearly is dated]
A sobering look at what Betsy DeVos did to education in Michigan — and what she might do as secretary of education The people who best know the education advocacy work of Betsy DeVos, the billionaire tapped by President-elect Donald Trump to be his education secretary, are in Michigan, where she has been involved in reform for decades. DeVos is a former Republican Party chairwoman in Michigan and chair of the pro-school-choice advocacy group American Federation for Children, and she has been a shining light to members of the movement to privatize public education by working to create programs and pass laws that require the use of public funds to pay for private school tuition in the form of vouchers and similar programs. She has also been a force behind the spread of charter schools in Michigan, most of which have recorded student test scores in reading and math below the state average. Many pro-school-choice groups have praised the choice, saying DeVos will work hard to grow new programs that give parents more school choice. But public education advocates say that they fear she will help propel America’s public education system toward destruction. The Detroit Free Press has written a number of articles about DeVos’s education record in Michigan. Here is an important piece [ http://www.freep.com/story/opinion/columnists/stephen-henderson/2016/12/03/betsy-devos-education-donald-trump/94728574/ ] looking at what a DeVos Education Department could be expected to do, written by someone who has watched her work for some time. Teacher to Trump’s education pick: Let’s ‘address the elephant in the room.’ It’s you. The selection of Betsy DeVos by President-elect Donald Trump as his education secretary nominee has been attacked by public school advocates who see her longtime support for school “choice” and private Catholic education as evidence that she does not support America’s public education system. In this post, that sentiment is explained by an educator who has written an open letter to DeVos. He is Patrick Kearney, facilitator for Teacher Leadership in the Johnston Community School District in Iowa. He spent 25 years as a band director in private and public schools of Iowa, and is a past-president of the Iowa Bandmasters Association and past co-chair of the Iowa Jazz Championships. He was also a founding board member of the Jazz Educators of Iowa. His wife teaches in the Des Moines Public Schools and his son is studying education at Drake University. NASA Scientist Calls Bullshit On Gwyneth Paltrow's New Wellness Fad
Gwyneth Paltrow has reached a giddy, Pete Evans-esque level of bullshittery with her latest Goop endorsement, wearable 'Body Vibes' stickers that claim to be made made of "NASA spacesuit material", and are intended to re-balance your body's energy.
"Human bodies operate at an ideal energetic frequency, but everyday stresses and anxiety can throw off our internal balance, depleting our energy reserves and weakening our immune systems. Body Vibes stickers come pre-programmed to an ideal frequency, allowing them to target imbalances. While you're wearing them - close to your heart, on your left shoulder or arm - they'll fill in the deficiencies in your reserves, creating a calming effect, smoothing out both physical tension and anxiety. The founders, both aestheticians, also say they help clear skin by reducing inflammation and boosting cell turnover."
The claim is so bold that it drew the ire of former Mark Shelhamer, the former chief scientist at NASA's human research division, who told Gizmodo that the stickers are "a load of BS."
"Not only is the whole premise like snake oil, the logic doesn't even hold up," he told the publication. "If they promote healing, why do they leave marks on the skin when they are removed?"
A NASA representative also told the publication that NASA suits "do not have any conductive carbon material lining", and that even if they did, it would be for the purpose of strengthening the suit, and would have nothing to do with health and wellness.
After criticism of the Body Vibes stickers, Goop have removed certain claims from their website, and added the disclaimer:
"As we have always explained, advice and recommendations included on goop are not formal endorsements and the opinions expressed by the experts and companies we profile do not necessarily represent the views of goop. Based on the statement from NASA, we've gone back to the company to inquire about the claim and removed the claim from our site until we get additional verification."
