First Transcontinental Auto Race

The First Transcontinental Auto Race started in New York and ended in Portland Oregon in 1905. Two 1903 Oldsmobile Runabouts
traveled across the country through muddy conditions and over paths that were less than ideal during the competition. The winner
took 44 days to complete the trek. The other driver, after hearing that the other car had won the race took time to go fishing.

Old Steady and Old Scout. LOL. Guess who went fishing.

It was Plato who said, “He, O men, is the wisest, who like Socrates, knows that his wisdom is in truth worth nothing”
