eBay reports the final price for items that have sold. You need to be registered (costs nothing, but a bit of a pain in the ass).
Items that have not sold are still shown as available for bidding.
I have a spreadsheet I created this weekend while taking care of a friend's kids. I plug in the selling price for each item, and it all adds up.
My total through 182 is 198900.00 but someone on RB also has a spread sheet and his total is slightly higher than mine (it is very possible I missed a sale).
Through the first 106 items, 179,425.00 total.
To get to 5M, for 1128 lots, the average price is 4,432 and change per lot.
It's 44320 to get to 50M.
Nowhere near averaging enough to get to 5M.
P.S. Looks like the report after the settlement that little of MJ's stuff would be auctioned was absolutely correct. Almost nothing of what was supposed to be the good stuff is being auctioned. No wonder MJ settled his suit.
Looks like some items are getting no bids, and some of the best MJ stuff may not be available. There was a report that part of the MJ settlement was he could cherry pick 20 items to get back.
Looks like that is exactly what happened. Of course, RA will claim that the items were sold privately before the auction began.
virginian: The site he pointed to simply reports eBay results for this auction.
Yup, the SEC cases are incredibly slow moving. Their case against USXP took 3 full years before they got a summary judgement for some of the charges originally filed. Now they're moving toward trying to get the remaining charges resolved.
This isn't as complex, as there are only 2 entities, and not several cohorts. But it will still be a very long time, if no settlement is reached.
Maybe he's hiring him to represent the company.
barryinla: Actually, I'm very surprised that people are currently paying anything close to what they're paying for this stock.
How much is a stock worth for a pinksheet company that not only doesn't report any results of operations, but doesn't say why it stopped, or for matter, doesn't say anything at all?
TCLL is where it is because of management decisions to stop filing financials, and to continue to be totally silent.
Good luck to ya...
NP. And good luck to you (and I actually hope you do enjoy the results - I'm not anti-USXP, I'm anti-RA - but I do know he will get his comeupance soon enough).
P.S. I have no evidence of VNDM's role in RA's dilution, except circumstantial. Some posters on the www.usxp.de site have claimed this was one or the MMs that worked with the discount sellers. Again, only rumor, no facts.
virginian: You already know what I think is going on. RA has the printing press going.
Nobody would short going into the stuff RA claims is coming unless they were a total idiot, and the people capable of shorting the shares needed to do what happened aren't that stupid, unless they know, really know, things that nobody else knows.
Good luck to you. This week should have been much more interesting for you guys than it has been. Who knows, maybe it will heat up again Tuesday, but it really isn't looking like this stock is going to be able to get out of the sub-sub pennies on any promises RA makes.
What's excellent about having the auction included as a Live EBay auction is that the winning bids for each and every item sold in the auction will be available on Ebay, whether that bid comes from the EBay or from a floor bidder.
Every item will have the winning bid identified. So we can all track the money coming in, item by item, throughout the auction.
Everybody will know exactly how well (or how badly) the auction is going.
You have to be a registered EBay user, but that's free. You don't have to be registered to participate in the auction on Ebay. You can look at the completed items listing, or you can watch the bidding reported in real-time by EBay.
It appears that it is going to be hard for RA to make up numbers, but then we are talking about RA...
I'm shocked that none of you true believers has bothered to find out if Ebay has anything available about this auction.
They do. In fact, they have a complete breakdown of the available items (1129) online right now:
http://search.liveauctions.ebay.com/search/search.dll?GetResult&ht=11&ctlgid=21961&lc=1&....
If the link doesn't work for you:
Go to www.ebay.com
Click the Live Ebay link in the left hand list.
Click the Memorabilia listing in the left had list.
Scroll down to select the Jackson Memorabilia item.
Please spend some time looking over what you all think will bring in 200M this coming week...
markbloor: They RA wouldn't have had to say he 'invited' him to attend. He could have said that he will be there.
roundabout: "You know Michael Jackson and the Jackson Family will be there."
Huh?
I tell you what. I'll make you a wager: I'll donate 1000.00 to your favorite children's charity if MJ or any member of his family shows up. If they don't, you donate 100.00 to the Jimmy Fund, a fund that supports the cancer research center of the Boston Children's Hospital.
roundabout: Why would any of those 'invited' celebs show? Clearly their presence would help line the auctioneer and seller's pockets far more than it could possibly help their favorite charities.
It was a nice piece of fluff on RA's part to put out a PR about inviting people. But don't you think it would have been much better to wait and see if anyone would accept the invite, and put out a PR stating that?
Zero chance any of them will show up.
roundabout: Why would any of them show? You don't think they're unaware of the fact that if they actually manage to increase the take for an item by let's say, 1000.00, only 100.00 of that might make it to the five charities, only 20.00 to their charity?
You actually think that any of these people will show up to help under these circumstances?
Bad advice - Now up to .0008 on a 16.00 trade. Now they should sell...
Webcast summary (stolen from www.usxp.de site):
auction being used as visibility to promote luggage service
expects more publicity as auction approaches
only need a few serious bidders to make it a successful auction
lots are moving from NY to Vegas
still people talking about purchasing entire collection, cannot make offers public (huh???)
collectors/museums/people outside this country
addressing the Q
he wanted it on the Q
accounting rules and regs said that even with appraisals, they wanted to wait until actual auction (wrong - the purchase price paid must be reported, and what it bought)
1100 items in THIS auction
in the near future, there will be other types of auctions, possibly different
percentages given on dividend and buyback - he feels it was clear
buyback will come *before* dividend
percentages may change - he doesn't think it will go lower
depends a bit on total value of auction
more auctions to follow
Talked about LEAP (ain't happening IMNSVHO)
Moved 32M bags at 90.00 each????? (Where's the 3B in revenue?)
events yet to come
move to another exchange is the goal (right. sure.)
DavidGali: On Jan 31, 2005, there were 5,969,199,343 outstanding per the relevant 10Q.
On March 31, 2006, there were 8,239,031,843.
On June 30, 2006, there were 12,670,133,343.
logic_guy: How else does he keep the doors open when he loses millions of dollars every quarter (8+M this last quarter alone, and about 20M for the first 9 months of this fiscal year).
The math is easy - sell shares or die...
virginian: And she is always known for the accuracy of her claims.
How do you explain that USXP web site clearly states the collection consists of about 4000 items, total?
Sorry about the duplicate post.
virginian: Virtually all of those claims were repeats of RA's numbers. Could you point me to the MJ claim?
We'll all find out soon enough.
virginian: Virtually all of those claims were repeats of RA's numbers. Could you point me to the MJ claim?
We'll all find out soon enough.
virginian: Have you read the pdfs on the USXP web site. The total collection as cited by those documents is under 4000, of which over 1900 weren't worth listing.
The original size of the collection was supposedly 10000 as cited by RA when he and his partners bought it. (Was he lying about not being the only owner then, or about being the only owner now?)
Then it grew to 20000.
Latest claim was 30000.
You know that RA is prone to some hyperbole about numbers.
And you know that the auction house cherry picked the items to go off in this auction. So this auction is the key.
Again, good luck. It will be an interesting week for you guys.
virginian: If the auction goes off at 200M, that would mean it averaged just about 167,000 per item. You can't seriously believe that is possible.
Have you read the items that are included in the collection as listed on the USXP web site? The whole collection, as listed by USXP itself, consists of less than 4000 items, of which 1900+ were not worth noting, per comment at the end of the last PDF list. Could you cite 50 items that have a chance of getting anywhere near 167K?
I highly doubt the auction will raise as much as 5M, based on the quality of the items available. We'll see, in a week, but one thing is crystal clear: There is no chance the items will come in at the numbers being claimed. Anyone who actually reads the list of notable items (the 6 PDF lists) can tell that.
Good luck you you.
faster183: May take a little longer to go sub. Seems like some very gullible people are buying into his latest PR BS.
It looks like he's hired a pump outfit that will make sure this stock shows up in all the paid penny rags, just like the good old days.
As for THPHF being EBIT positive this year, right, sure, and so what? The taxes and latest financing deals will have French reporting multi-million loss for the year, and a massive number of new shares.
.12? Yikes...
Dr Worm: One hopes the company starts putting out info. If they continue to put out information like they have, and, now, no SEC financials, well, what would be a fair price for a pinksheet stock that does that?
Oh, and more silver lining - the E should be gone tomorow.
Dr Worm: Not unexpected. No attempt to tell us anything about what was going on, and the fact that they didn't bother to file the NT 10Q for the quarter that was due today at the latest, told me it was coming.
Good luck to you.
tomvlasic: I'm a bit surprised about the May 7th deadline, as well, but I'm also aware that sometimes things don't get posted to the Docket until well after they've actually happened.
It could be the response was made, but not posted yet.
tomvlasic: Looked at the pdf for yucks. Interesting that Riley specifically cited his firm was representing Plant only.
I guess the previously identified lawyer is taking care of CyberKey's interest (I would guess that somebody has to, or the SEC could win by default against the company).
tomvlasic: Thanks for saving everyone here some cash, particularly Divine, and time.
So far no info on what, if any, response Plant (and CyberKey) provided to the court by 5/7 regarding the SEC charges. I'm sure he must have, otherwise the SEC wins here and now.
Again, thanks.
virginian: We'll find out soon enough what the lawyer meant. As for Jackson not having a case, I'm not sure. The material was sold to the NJ guy by the bankrupt company's Trustee for the amount of the storage costs that company owned. Unless MJ's stuff was owned by the company, I seriously doubt that Trustee had the right to include that property as part of the sale.
Again, we'll see. It should prove interesting any way it comes down. Guernsey was pretty smart to have live EBay auction action, because people bidding on that site have a tendency to lose control.
Good luck to you.
virginian: What do you thing this quote at the bottom of the AP article means:
"Jeffrey Sylvester, a Las Vegas lawyer for Universal, said "very little" of Jackson's personal items would be sold."
Looks to me like Jackson got his way.
knowlesmsncom: I have never thought of the BioVault as a high-quality product. That wasn't the point of my response to you. My response was a legitimate question - I thought I might have missed something somewhere because what you were claiming the PR from SQUM said wasn't what I read they said.
Neither one of us knows what is really going on. Nobody posting anything on this site, either pro or con, knows what is really going on right now. We all know what happened in the past. We all know that Plant and CyberKey are facing serious SEC charges, and Plant is facing serious criminal charges. Some of us think the evidence clearly indicates Plant is guilty of all charges, others believe the whole story hasn't been heard - notably people who have been told that by Plant.
I think he's guilty, but my opinion doesn't matter - Only the SEC and criminal court judges opinions will matter.
There is some evidence that the company is still attempting to survive, and is holding on somehow. Some want to downplay that as a ridiculous assumption, but I think it is ridiculous to come to that conclusion. Will the company actually survive? I doubt it - the SEC charges will carry a stiff financial penalty against CyberKey, regardless of who gets blamed for the fraud that occurred. That will break this company.
But nobody here, either me, or you, or yellow, or ralph actually knows what will happen. And the fact that the safe isn't the best of products has nothing to do with what will happen. It has nothing to do with what did happen.
This whole war going on about the safe, and its quality, won't save Plant, Cyberkey, or anyone's investment in this company. Nor will arguing about Plant's guilt or innocence by anyone on this site save or ruin Plant, or CyberKey. If CyberKey is surviving, it is clearly doing so without selling shares. And it will not be able to do so by selling shares until evidence is given that the company is actually, truely surviving.
Right now the only one who can let us all see a clearer picture of all of this crap, is Plant, and it isn't something he appears willing to do.
Good luck to you, as well.
knowlesmsncom: There is certainly an implication with the original 60-day extension that Plant was looking to work with Justice on the problem (Cyberkey is not involved in the criminal action), since he supported the extension.
Exactly why, is totally up in the air.
knowlesmsncom: Where do you get your information about Plant rejecting the shipment? The only PR on the subject states that the shipment was made, but the invoice that went with it was not paid.
http://www.pinksheets.com/quote/news.jsp?url=fis_story.asp%3Ftextpath%3DCOMTEX%5Cbw%5C2007%5C03%5C20...
knowlesmsncom: Two extensions on the 30 days have been sought and granted, pushing the deadline out to 90 days (last extension was due to Plant changing lawyers).
Indictment not due now until mid-July...
New one on me - I was aware that trades can be made at less than .0001, but I hadn't seen one reported before during the trading day (the only other ones I've seen were for MSITF, a foreign pink, so it's trades are reported at about 5:20 or so each day).
So far, two trades reported, one for 5000 shares at .0001, and one for 5000 shares at some price less than .0001 (reported as sold for 0.0).
Less than a 1.00 in total? Very, very bizarre...
yellowdog: What happened to the other 20+ employees? Didn't they have at least 30 as of last November? Did they lay them off, and are now just hiring again?
Curious. Or was the 30 employees just another exageration?
And now he doesn't file NT 10-Qs on time either...
