Fluor has plenty of cash from SMR ready to expand into a much more profitable business, European power supply. Assuming they are sticking with SMR, which i have to believe they are, SMR is going to make some real progress. Oil at this time seems very risky for Europe with Russia and Iran in play.

The U.S. Export-Import Bank has approved a $98-million loan for the second phase of an early engineering and design study by Fluor Corp. for a six-module, 462-MW small modular nuclear reactor in Romania—the country's first—at the site of a former coal power plant in Doice?ti near Bucharest that will use technology of U.S.-based developer NuScale Power Corp. Each module would be 77 MW.

All planned construction activities for 2024 have been completed, and project construction and development are on track to achieve the first gold pour in the second quarter of 2025.
