"All that being the case, then WHY should management's use of this reserve count towards their "achievement" for LTCP compensation purposes (which evidently it does)?"

To keep the talent happy. Geesh you sound like a Black and White Accountant that doesn't have a fricking clue what it akes to run a business but the numbers.

It takes talent, you must keep the talent. They must provide value. Like the stock going from 16 to 26. That is value provided by properly compensated and motivated management.

Do not respond unless you are going to answer the question honestly about what you are trying to get on the ASM agenda for a vote this year. You have totally evaded this question and have lost all credibility in my mind.

And remeber I control more shares than you claimed to last year.

Corp, would you stop beating that dead horse? YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT GAVE RISE TO THE LTCP AND YOU CONTINUE POSTING AS IF YOU DO. I don't believe for one second that the tax issue has ANY bearing on the achievement or non achievement of goals. You believe otherwise but the FACT IS, neither one of us know for sure yet you continue to post as if you do. I would doubt any comp plan and goals include any income tax impact and if it does, it was a poorly designed plan IMO. Please put this to bed already as you don't really know the facts. You have your right to complain about issues but when you continue posting about something and really don't know if you are correct, you are being ridiculous.

It is only evident to you.
