WS "wont give much credit for the reversal anyway since it is not part of their overall business even if 100% was reversed against income tax expense since it is non recurring" AND the reserve only exists because the company LOST money previously.

All that being the case, then WHY should management's use of this reserve count towards their "achievement" for LTCP compensation purposes (which evidently it does)?
