Fat fingers typo. Thanks for clarification.
To clarify, the declared dividend is $.60 that is payable July 23, 2025. MY3sons, thanks, I am sure $.69 is just a typo.
Link says IDCC declares regular quarterly dividend of 69 cents payable in July.
I asked the last 2 questions. They are still buying back stock and all the 2027 bonds are outstanding. I asked if video had been included in previous licenses. He responded it is a new opportunity.
The answer provided to my question posted below is that the arbitration result has NOT yet been received.

My question being submitted to today's ASM:
Have the Samsung arbitration results been received? If the results are final, what accounting adjustments may we expect. Thank you.

IMO, with the announcement of potential deescalation of trade conflicts between US and China, there should be more upcoming licensing deals (Huawei, Honor) from that part of the world..Comparing to other crowded trades, I believe that IDCC will be less speculative compared to others and have better values..AMHO
@1M shares to go from 221 to just under 228…and then @238k shares to go back to 221.
Watch it come back. They shake the tree when they feel demand will soar.
Impressive low volume take down! Down $4.53 on a mere 37k shares. This looks like manipulation to keep the price down.
I miss attending the Annual Meetings that used to be held in King of Prussia. Can shareholders attend or is the meeting a virtual one?
Approx $300 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) by 2030 for streaming and cloud services per slide in presentation at last week’s William Blair conference.

Another day, another record closing high!
I clearly remember the day, i sold 1000 shares near the highs and rebought a part of my position near the close.Great day. Was on last March the 6th.
Great to be talking about highs!
Just to clarify my post. You are correct regarding the 52 week high, but that was an intraday price, not the closing price. That was the day IDCC opened up +30 points and then trading down during the day to end up 8 points or so for the day.
The highest closing price was today.
Sorry for any confusion.
Yahoo finance has the 52 week high as I posted. And the 52 week low is 114.42.
$231.97 was actually an intra-day high (opening price). Closed at $209.52 that day. I believe the previous all-time closing high is $225.72 on March 25, 2025. That would make today's close a new all-time closing high if I am correct.
The 52 week closing high is $231.97. It still stays of today.
New all time closing price today? We shall see.
cat back on 5/27 dws had a great post on idcc and the stuff they have in the pipeline, with XR tech etc , if you follow that link it opens up quite a bit of stuff that i was unaware of and they did cover it in the briefing yesterday...if they meet their goals of 1 billion rev and a high % goes to the bottom line this is a potential 3x in the next 5-6 years....i believe with a convincing win in the brasilian courts this will start the avalanche of revenue of immersive media delivery licensees
Orient,
Thanks!! This sounds most impressive!!
This technology should definitely lead to material $$ licenses with companies such as Disney!
IDCC is indeed a rare and unique company, and it is the backbone of my investment portfolio.

I was able to view the entire William Blair presentation. Although there was no new information, Liren had a concise overview with slides similar to those from recent company events.
I found the link on the calendar, thank you.
The link is not on the IDCC website. EOM

I'm looking for a link to the William Blair presentation (6/3 @ 4:08). Can anyone direct me to that link?
perhaps a little bit of news leaking from the william blair presentation at 4:20 today
always liked that number
Vegas Disney should keep the hardworking employees and clear out the sleeping executive staff. What were they doing while their business landscape was changing.
As always make the little guys pay.
Did you see that Disney is laying off hundreds of employees in the film division? Disney must need to do it to pay IDCC...
Zdog the long term investor shall reap the rewards. Even though this is taking longer than many thought years ago.
He certainly would be smiling even seeing IDCC at the price it is today, let alone what you are holding out for!
Zdog: Why not channel MickeyB.IDCC is up 2,507 percent since inception. And the current management sees much more growth and price upside. As do I.
Are you channeling Mickeybritt?
Fish in my humble opinion IDCC is not for sale at a meager $300/share. I may be interested at 10 X today's price.
Tomcat: A Price of $300+ would be super -- BUT -- i TRULY DOUBT 1 license with Disney wouldn't do it.
NOW, if you said a buyout of IDCC by someone would certinly get the pricer closer to the $300 target.
Come on Liren, time yo explore the possibilities of a sale of IDCC. JMO
Could a license with Disney take us above $300 per share?
I would say that is a possibility!
IMHO - Tomcat

Moderators |
The principle objective of the iHub message boards is to maintain a high signal-to-noise ratio while encouraging the exchange of all points of view. Moderators are an important part of making our message boards beneficial to all participants and readers. Moderating a stock-specific board, particularly those which are controversial due to many divergent perspectives or newsworthy events, can be a challenging and time consuming role. The time and effort expended by our Members who volunteer their time to fulfill this valuable role is greatly appreciated and our Moderators should be treated with the respect they deserve for donating their time and efforts to the collective benefit of our community. Company-specific boards are the lifeblood of iHub. The Moderators' role is simple to define for company-specific boards:
To promote the civil exchange of on-topic dialog that complies with the Investors Hub Terms of Service. |
It is no accident that neither the above definition nor the Terms of Service makes mention of investment sentiment, shareholder interests, or considerations such as "the good of the company." That is because the TOS are blind to investment sentiment. In order to be a successful Moderator and conduct a board within the scope of iHub's TOS, it is critical that Moderators distinguish their role and privileges as Moderator from their role and privileges as a posting Member. That is often easier said than done, particularly on active boards with both the typical and atypical controversy.
If a post does not fit into any of these categories the post must not be removed.
Some posts fall into a "gray" area and are borderline depending upon the way they are read. As inclusion is favored over exclusion, please err or the side of not removing posts if they are not clear violations. Please use the "Report TOS Violation" button at the bottom of the post with your comments if the post is not egregious in nature and Site Admins will review the message.
Bottom line: Please use your best judgment in removing posts based on the above guidelines and let us know if you have any questions or need any help. And keep in mind that post removal and non-removal have to be given the same emphasis. It is not permissible, for example, to remove a post that calls someone a "pumper" while not also removing a post that calls someone a "basher". Investor sentiment, including your own, can NOT be part of the removal/non-removal decision.
