OT: Agree with most of what you said except your implication that there may be a link between families going hungry and giving aids to corrupt regimes. We throw away food everyday when full and consume more than our fair share of earth's resources and pretend to be the world's police. If a family in America goes hungry, it will be because we're just a fat and wasteful society.

I have no special love for these aid concerts because they do more to sell music and cd's for these performers and all the while people elsewhere still go hungry. I personally do not find it that impressive to tout your own causes on a message board like this because people don't care. Quite frankly, it makes the person who touts to be a more "courageous" person and that's probably not his true intention.

I challenge all of you NEOM fans to one day give away part of your NEOM wealth (big or small) anonymously without touting it or having buildings or things named after you. To me this is the highest form of selfless giving.

The Universe is pure energy.

It is alive and conscious.

We are the Universe's highest form of self expression and self awareness.

But whatever you choose, the Universe will reflect your belief back to you.

Projection is perception.

These are just Universal Principals.

Truly enlightened masters know that Light is all there is.

Darkness is nothing more than seperation from light or an illusion, and therefore does not exist.

I for one choose to come from light.

I for one choose to help save just a life today from starvation in any way, shape or form that I can.

I for one choose to believe in mankind, as opposed to against it.

IF "Live Aid" & "We are the World" WERE/ARE trying to funnel funds through regimes U.N.- &/or U.S.-certified as homicidal, they WOULD INEVITABLY be betraying all idealistic contributors: Such regimes, by definition, would OF COURSE make SURE the $$$ would end up in their own coffers, thus inevitably financing slaughter!

Good intentions obviously are NEVER enough: You've GOT to make sure what you do actually yields good results!

HOWEVER, I also refuse - absent EVIDENCE to the contrary! - to believe (a) the organizers of "Live Aid" & "We are the World" are so utterly, delusionally divorced from reality as to have handed or be about to hand internationally branded mass-murdering governments....a blank check, or, that (b) the international media, if THEY had such damning evidence, would simply....look the other way and, through silence, become witting, willing collaborators in what would be a global scam with the grisliest of implications.
