Hi Newly, Recently I've had problems with very thick accents and unfamiliar speech patterns from U.S. service centers. Sometimes the barely literate spanish speakers or African-American inner city accents are more difficult to understand than the well educated Indian or Pakistani. The problem is CHEAP, POOR QUALITY labor and not necessarily the country of orgin. I can tell when the help is barely literate because it's obvious that they are reading or memorizing a script and having trouble pronouncing certain words or understanding your questions in the first place.
I called AT&T customer service and wanted to know when my billing cycle starts. Well Haboo in India not only told me when my billing cycle starts and ends but unbeknownst to me cancelled my Long Distance service and as a result I received an $800 dollar bill. That took another call to fix. So after all was said and done I decided to cancel my service with AT&T all together. I just refuse to deal with those incompetent dumb asses.
