nicmar, your downside is pretty aggressive. MPartners came out with the recommendation before the hearing with a target of 48 and that is based on other things as well...not just NOK resolution. From the current price of 55, how come the upside is just 10 to 20 (65/75) whereas the downside is 20 to 30 (25/35)? In other words, what you are saying is that IDCC doesn't have anything if there is no NOK...but IDCC's cash position and revenue are showing the contrary.

Nicmar, you stated

we'll either be at $25/$35 or $65/$75 (depending on which way the CAFC decision goes)

Well, it's not all about NOKIA; IDC has gained business without a license from Nokia; IDC has gained in price PRIOR TO THE ORAL ARGUEMENTS without Nokia; IDC has gained in price WITHOUT A DECISION from the CAFC; and now NOKIA is teaming up with MICROSOFT without a license with IDCC.

We lost $6-$8 each time the ITC ruled in favor of NOKIA; so, we have already dropped in price based on a status quo at the CAFC; shouldn't we go up $12-$16 or more if we have a favorable ruling at the CAFC and not drop at at all (or too much) with a ruling in favor of NOKIA?

The momentum for the most part has been IDC and NOT NOKIA in the past few months. SO, I submit to you that ALL IN ALL, IT IS NOT ABOUT NOKIA ANY MORE BUT ALL ABOUT INTERDIGITAL !

Your lower end is a bit extreme, don't you think? It isn't all about nokia anymore. Each passing day just confirms that with their lost market share. Guess who's picking up their lost mkt share???
