What a CAFC loss would mean "perception wise" is unpredictable because we would simply refile, pursue the Delaware litigation or settle.Nokia on the other hand would run out of options facing a potential ban.

Nonetheless..i'd think a settlement for both parties is VERY near.

Ok Fish. You are also correct as vg future already nailed me on that one. I still believe we'll take some hit with a loss. I'm thinking I should have realistically said 35/45 .. 65/75. I think that's realistic for me. Either way, with a loss, I believe IDCC would recover after a time period and with a win, 65/75 would be also temporary. As you stated,

The momentum for the most part has been IDC and NOT NOKIA in the past few months. SO, I submit to you that ALL IN ALL, IT IS NOT ABOUT NOKIA ANY MORE BUT ALL ABOUT INTERDIGITAL !

IDCC does have great earnings which should mitigate any temporary loss. mo. .. nic

Fish and Nicmar, it it entirely possible that deep pocket investors sent their hired techies to peruse the patent improvements that were granted to IDCC following the ITC's non infringement ruling.

The fact that the patents in suit at the ITC were deemed valid but not infringed says a lot. And then for IDCC to go back and have the claims further clarified to close the noose so that infringement is "EVIDENDT" rather than debateable says alot. As IDCC has said the ALJ helped IDCC to have the patents solidified. And Nokia like all serious investors are aware that those patents are really tight now. Even though the old patents were more than enough in their claims of code, chips, signal and bandwith.
