Dig, I understand. That is Wave's job to communicate, demonstrate, illustrate and dissmeminate the message that it does not interfere with imaging and replication routines.

Assuming what you are saying is true, than a good sales team ( we know their objection is imaging and replication routines) should be able to overcome that perception or craft a solution that solves that problem.

dig space, that would not surprise or distress me, especially in government, and I think such anecdotes are always useful for the unpopular task of managing expectations here.

Your reference to imaging and replication reminds me that it wasn't that long ago that large organizations and leading corporations were still standardizing on Token-Ring and OS2/Warp, when the technology trend was plainly towards Ethernet and NT. IBM was using all of their considerable powers of coercion to fight off the inevitable changeover, they had their blue-shirt orthodoxy advocates in place, and when it was finally over it had cost their customers a tidy sum as well as some competitive advantage.

That changeover did not happen all at once, but happen it did. And those who invested in the Ethernet paradigm did pretty well.

dig space, you stated,

I have seen no links supporting Agriculture, Interior, Commerce, Education, Energy, HHS, coming on line. Zip! Nil! Notta! **THAT** is what contrivance is.

I appreciate whatever info you can bring, however, when you present info with such potential impact on this investment and only offer as corroboration, your statement that you have seen no evidence to the contrary; what value is your input to others on this board?

Please provide some corroboration!

dig_space, even though the IT staff at certain government departments are forbidding anyone from turning on TPMs prior to having central management capability, I wouldn't assume that some of them aren't involved in controlled trials.

As you point out, DoD appears to be moving forward as they truly have more of an immediate need to seriously restrict access to their networks, but once DoD takes the lead and begins to ramp up TPM activation then other departments like DHS would likely be prepared to follow in an orderly fashion.
