Point 1: Of course Laidlaw will take advantage of any tax incentives available. That is good business sense. However unlike Clean Power they never have stated that they would be necessary to be economically viable. Laidlaw has the funding for the project. Does Clean Power?
Point 2: Laidlaw was working with the previous Mayor and council as noted by many posters. The town elected them out office as a response to cooperation with LLEG. Obviously the new Mayor is against the project.
Point 3: Why should Laidlaw need to gravel at the feet of Berlin? This is America, they saw a great business oportunity and took it. The city stood by and watched them do it. What did you guys want the property for free or something. Come on get real.
Point 4: Who's trying to infringe on who's rights, Berlin or Laidlaw? It sounds like Berlin is trying infringe on the rights of a property owner. Not a smart move in my opinion, especially with all the conflicts of interest the town has gotten itself involved with.
Question 1: Does Clean Power own property in Berlin? If not why not? They are on the queu ahead of Laidlaw. Bottom line is the queu really isn't that important right now since an upgrade needs to take place no matter where you are on the Queu.
Question 2: Are you completely closed minded about the project or just a person with a conflict of interest problems?
Laidlaw is good for NH. Who cares about Berlin at this point. They are so closed minded.
GO LLEG YOU ROCK.
