It's not a theory. On the date of the corp counsels release (Dec 5) a meeting, previously, had been scheduled for Dec 22. Propper notification deadlines have passed so the meeting will have to be held on a later date if at all.
Why don't you sue them.
Perhaps you would have rather the release say
"Mr. Frohling stated that the Company might have scheduled a Shareholders meeting for December 22, 2007, details to be announced"
that would be false because the company DID call a meeting.
