#91257 RE: IH Geek [Meatloaf] #91256

I appreciate that information. I hadn't realized one could "turn off" these things. However, is I-Hub at all bothered that some of its users are sneakily planting stuff on the computers of other users? I'm not a geek, but I think that more than cookies can be imbedded in graphics files, and I'm sure a lot of users never get to the point where they have enough savvy to know that it's happening.

Just a thought.

I think that only works for paying customers, Mr. Loaf. I'm a freeloader currently, and setting "Show Signatures in Messages" to "No" does not block signatures for me. I don't want to put "No" on "Display Embedded Graphics" or, presumably, I won't be able to view posted stock charts.

I agree completely. I have Display Embedded Graphics set to ON simply for charts, however I HATE the signature graphics and get sick of seeing the same ones over and over again - especially when they are sick from sickos!

I want to be able to "READ" signatures without having to "SEE" graphics and without having to sacrifice legitimate graphics (charts). One of the beauties of IHUB (at least for a premium member) is that it is not cluttered with tons of graphics. It's very meat and potatos - simply providing the information we need.

There really should be a way to turn off embedded graphics in signatures ONLY. Please consider that as soon as possible.
