We are aware of places that use zero byte images to track IP addresses. We block those as we find them.

For the most part though cookies are fairly innocuous. IHub itself sets a number of cookies but it's not to track you, it's to facilitate using the site. I would expect that the cookies you're seeing on images are the same type.
