I wish we did receive income from signature images ;)

Go to Tools -> My Settings. There are two options of interest there. The first is "Display Embedded Graphics" - setting that to "Off" will block any images. The second is "Show Signatures in Messages" - setting that to "No" will block signatures entirely.
