you are not being negative at all; the fact is, the proposed product appears barely effective whatsoever. There is nothing here to merge with. There are no strong data sets. It is sort of a hustle. That is not being a negative nelly at all. Bottom line is that this was highly speculative and the gamers here took a shot and it appears after over a decade, the product is not very strong at all. In fact, commercially, it is not a product at all. Nobody is gonna sign on with this "company." It offers nothing, so the idea that there is this sugar daddy is spurious.

You have your opinion and I appreciate it.
I disagree with it.

First we don't know for sure that those people left the company. If they did that expertise can be replaced or contracted for, so that isn't really an issue.
You don't know what state the plans for further trials is in.
Fragile X trial shouldn't require a long time to run and should be relatively easy to recruit as one possible trial.

It appears to me that you are assuming the worst case with your analysis. That is always worth doing. It also is not the likely path forward.

The path forward is unclear since we don't know what the situation is with Missling and what consequence that may have for the company.
Until that is clarified making predictions on what is the best path forward is risky.

BIOChecker

I agree mostly with your last paragraph:

"If it were me, I’d be quietly speaking with biotech investment bankers to find the best deal I could get."

Those IB's know who to call and those who they are calling will be able to look at the data (if worthwhile) and put something together; it might be much lower than we wish for, but at that point......it will be competitive and other BP companies might be interested
