Will be interesting to see how it all plays out. Maybe stocks just keep ripping higher in the meantime. Sure seems like a LOT of complacency in the market right now. Saw that consumer confidence on Friday came in at the lowest level ever recorded(!). So lower than the depths of the pandemic, lower than the 2008 financial crisis, etc. Def doesn't sound good. And so bizarre that it coincides with a stock market at record highs.

IMO, if the U.S. had decided against putting "boots on the ground", we should not have started this military adventure. The U.S. might be negotiating with people who are going to be far worse than the mullahs.
So, I saw gasoline at $4.19 a gallon in this area. That probably is the national average. But I don't think higher petrol prices in the U.S. will throw this economy into a tailspin. We should be very worried that Europe will go into deep recession. Their energy situation is extremely precarious.
Bottom line: Something has to happen this week.
