Let's say that you are in the business.  What business in their right mind is going to tell a reporter what they are doing to leap frog their competition.  If I were them I'd say "we are doing what everyone is doing."  I think that Mark Lutkowitz thinks that he determines the path forward for the industry, Reporters should report, not put their fingers on the scale.

Somebody forgot to tell Robert Blum, he just joined as Sr. V.P. Marketing. Blum former Director of Strategic Marketing and Business Development for Intel's Silicon Photonics Product Division who also worked at Applied Materials as Head of Product Line Management.

Lightwaves polymers are APPLIED to SILICON PHOTONICS in a Foundry and the PDK is available to select customers.

Holy Toledo—That’s one hell of a post by Mark. Whether he is right or wrong, that is the most specific commentary regarding the commercialization positioning by someone external to lightwave that I’ve ever seen, with the exception of the report by Kerrisdale that brought me here by prompting my curiosity 3 years ago, and with the exception of all the armchair, quarterbacks here, including myself.

Mark Lutkowitz is the Shorts mob/cult leader finally coming out of the closet and BASHING nonstop on Linkedin, the BIG question is WHO IS PAYING HIM??? Many here believe he was connected to the kerrisdale klown kar that published a report so riddled with lies and deceptions that it had to be summarily rebuked in SEC filed docs, and still teddybear quoted from all that pure BS over and over here!!!

Hi Mark Lutkowitz,
Just a few comments on EO Polymers. I believe that we have made significant progress on reliability and are now ready for productization.

Read back what was said on organic LEDs reliability only a few years ago … while today, you might be reading this post on an OLED screen… why the change? improved materials, design for high temperature, protection form moisture and oxygen… Lightwave Logic, Inc. had a number of technology breakthroughs over the last two years, both in polymer design and process development that closely follow the OLED trajectory.

Perception can be a bit unfair, but it is reality… we are still suffering from the past failure of Lumera/Gigoptix in bringing products to market. I cannot emphasize enough that our Perkinamine polymers are completely different from the polymers designed and licensed by the University of Washington.

Finally, I agree that we need to do a better job of educating the industry about how we made our Perkinamine polymers extremely robust without compromising on performance. We’ll take on the challenge !
