This would be one hell of a trading strategy. MCIC is unsolicited quotes. Really it should be true retail buy and sell orders but the MM's still do not show the depth. But could they chop the orders into 10K share blocks? I don't see why they would. The MM can not place their own quotes without retail orders true asks and bids. But what if someone in retail wanted to play dirty? Act like a dirty MM and buy the retail sell orders that fall below? This is how. Retail has an ask of .0023 with CDEL for example on 250,000 shares. An investor uses one account to place 30 trade orders for 10,000 shares at .0022. This evil investor waits for the seller at .0023 to drop below them. Then they use another account to buy that 250,000 share block. They catch any shares that fall. GTSM was actively moving those 10K asks around all day for the last 2 weeks. Normal dilution would have just crushed the bids that had built up below those asks. Ironically GTSM showed 10K buy orders close or on the bids.
