The O's sign Tyler O'niell to a 3/49.5 million that is a decent amount of money for a guy who had a career year and is generally a bit injury prone, guessing santander is gone not that I'm surprised. I would of rather signed conforto at that price he is cheap and his numbers away from SF perhaps the worst ball park to hit in or close to it would be better and probably would of cost less. Overall th free agency market is much more expensive this year in my opinion.
More than almost every other player hitting free agency, Adames had a fantastic walk year. His power numbers, stolen bases and batting average peaked at just the right time. He was awesome for the Crew- a fan favorite and an excellent clubhouse guy, but his contract demands were always going to ensure he'd end up getting premium money from a big market club.
I hope he lights it up for the Giants for many years, but I fear there might be some disappointment after his 2024 season.
