More than almost every other player hitting free agency, Adames had a fantastic walk year. His power numbers, stolen bases and batting average peaked at just the right time. 
He was awesome for the Crew- a fan favorite and an excellent clubhouse guy, but his contract demands were always going to ensure he'd end up getting premium money from a big market club.

I hope he lights it up for the Giants for many years, but I fear there might be some disappointment after his 2024 season.
