The trump card for Niocorp is national defense. The partisan politics and ends of the political spectrum can make all the noise they want but nothing trumps national defense, especially in todays environment.
We should be sending Christmas cards to Xi and Putin for all the tireless work they have done to create the current geopolitical environment which makes Niocorp a winner and what they have indispensable. The criticality and diversity of the product suite, the high concentrations and volumes, environmental mitigation through design for both mine and processing plant. And many more factors make this bulletproof in my mind.
Max- I would like to think that Niocorp’s Elk Creek project is already known & past the smoozing stage. In 2019 they did have a lobbyist; Jim even spoke before Congress. What would they be lobbying for now? Even the USGS has completed extensive recent research 2022. The project is permitted & shovel ready! Jim has also stated the Niocorp team was familiar with the DoE/LPO process (because they had gone down that avenue before.) I guess a new lobbyist won’t hurt, but it’s all about completing & proving final process/separation via ongoing demonstration operations & getting financed in 2023 for me!
