Exactly right Reefrad. That would be extremely embarrassing for JAMA if they published studies that were failures as if they were successful. Again, as I told Hydro previously, it's published in a major, peer reviewed, well regarded medical journal for a reason. And presuming everyone was incompetent, 70 top doctors from top research institutions, the peer reviewers and editors of a JAMA publication, the statisticians, it quite preposterous.

No, there are regular publications of drug trials that claim "trial meets endpoints" (success!!) and were rejected by the regulators.

Most failed trials don't get published as the sponsor doesn't want to pay to have a manuscript prepared.
