Wrong. Journal editors and reviewers are very cautious with the wording they allow in trial manuscripts. The fact that this trail was published with such strong language means that the trial methodology and statistical analysis passed the inspection of Jama’s standards. There is simply nothing you can say that will change this simple fact.
You have absolutely no clue regarding the diligence done in a JAMA publication. This is not Huffington Post or Fox News where they rubber stamp something that meets their agenda. It’s typically 6 months to a year of diligence work, double checking any possible errors, before an article gets published.
The fact that you have no awareness of that is a testament to how ill informed your opinion is.
