Nope, but I gather from HGTV that decorators work with contractors. After all, if you want to take down a wall, you need a contractor. A decorator would, I think, have picked up on the need for more outlets.

And of course your own needs should be accommodated. But be sure you have a dedicated work space with good light and a nearby outlet or two. Or more. And a big cutting board.

Architectural Digest is just good for ideas. But you can also get ideas on HGTV. Really. You don't want to get it all finished and then discover you forgot something important.

My wife hates counter clutter and always questioned why I had 20 knives when I only used 3 of them.

This was cheaper than a divorce.

I'll pass on Architectural Digest when it comes to ideas. I don't think the kitchen is large enough.
