"This tells me that the Strat is very close to being launched. A government shutdown of the Lockheed airship project will save them the embarassment of having to admit that a small private company beat Lockheed at their own game."

Vern, do you think Lockheed had their buddies in gov't cancel Lockheed's airship project to actually save them (Lockheed) from embarrassment, or do you believe the military types did it on their own after assessing SanswireII's progress?

vkoenig -- Whether Lockheed has or

has not been successful is not the question for this board unless you hold Lockheed shares.

What should concern posters on this board (GTEM shareholders) is whether or not GTEM has or has not been successful with their airship program.

vkoenig, obviously you and your designs were part of GTEM's original entry into possible Stratellite flight. Therefore some view you as an "expert". My problem with that is that, other than the name "Stratellite", nothing remains of you or your designs which, it should seem obvious to all, were faulty and unuseable.

Since you seem to hold yourself up as the GTEM/Stratellite "expert" can you inform as to your current contact and consulting with GTEM and what, if any, input you have had with the current design and engineering of the demonstrator.

It should be obvious that GTEM's success (or failure) with the Stratellite has nothing to do with Lockheed and DARPA so why continue posting something of no relevance to GTEM?
