Another interpretation of AUC would be RSBQ was measured several times say week 1,3,5,7 and the total score was added up and compared between treated and placebo. (this method might especially be good if the 5 week or 3 week data looked much better than the 7 week final data)

There is nothing wrong with an endpoint like this unless it is post-hoc and better than the original endpoint. Missling MUST explain this at 830 or else results are open to interpretation.

I think this is the source of the SP reaction (12.76 as I write)

My guess (only a guess) is that patients who had trouble tolerating 30 mg were backed off say to 10 mg and then re-raised to 30 mg.


Probably not an issue and the AUC more likely based on total RSBQ score.

Convenient once daily orally liquid doses of up to 30mg ANAVEX®2-73 was well tolerated with very good medication compliance of 95%.
