I think you are also right, because it has been months since the COOP price has been more or less around 30$.
I already thought about it and also wrote here in the forum about 2-3 weeks ago.
The shorts that keep the price low, could also be the Edges that hold masses of ESCROWS, and given the low price of the current shares, in case of distribution of new shares to ESCROWS holders, they will logically receive many more shares depending on the value to be given and the value to be received.
This may also be the reason why the shorts have not yet kept up their coverage.
And if the price should decrease, (Dilution)
The shorts would swat two flies with one blow.
The only difficulty they would have to face would be an insider trade.
But if that is the case the edges have surely given the task to THIRD parties.
This is just my opinion!

Samurai, but your prediction does imply that holding long now is an investment mistake-that one should sell their shares now to buy back later for much less,
