I often talk about market mechanics (i.e. how things work) and how understanding them can keep people from making mistakes.

At no time can anyone offer investment advice without that advice being pertinent to a particular time period. The discussion was about what would happen in a short period of time. I have no idea if that short period of time will be measured in minutes or months!

I NEVER SUGGESTED THAT ANYONE SHOULD SELL THEIR SHARES NOW TO BUY BACK LATER FOR LESS AND TO HELL WITH YOU FOR SUGGESTING I ADVISED PEOPLE TO DO THAT!

I am sick and tired of the straw man attacks on this board where someone twists someone else's words into meaning things they were never meant to mean and THEN slandering the original poster based on their twisted interpretations.

I was talking in hypothetical terms about LARGE LARGE concerns with DEEP DEEP pockets making tactical trades that will help them in the long run.

These hypothetical tactical trades are risky in and of themselves. If one is wrong about what is going to happen - or even just wrong about the timing, they will magnify their losses!
