NWBO would (successfully) argue that there has not been anything to update yearly.. You really can seriously not compare the yearly updating of the clinical trial registry, if any, with reporting the results of a clinical trial..!

(Completion was on July 22 2020.) It really has everything to do with informing the public especially patients which according to the FDA, given the chance and emphasis in January 2018, has held this as highly important. Also, the consequences are much more severe than just not updating the trial yearly! The consequences are among others that the outcome of the trial may be void.
