Nobody here has forgotten Direct, and everybody knows its unrealised potential.
But there have been several false starts on Direct P2's in the last few years, due to them not having the necessary wherewithall.
And that is definitely still the case. Everything has to be committed to concluding the L trial.

Unless a fairy godmother comes along.

(And if one does, imo that won't be Merck, as Merck will do nothing to advance the development of a drug that would potentially put at risk their revenue from a certain other top-selling drug. JMO.)

In other words DCVax Direct progress has stalled and if anyone can remember how many years DCVax Prostate was “pending partnership” that should tell you all you need to know.

So much for “multiple ways to win.”

DCVax L is now all we have left.

This actually suggests to me that real progress is being made on actually advancing the trial, but reasonably they needed to set aside expenses for contract manufacturing at this time. When it is actually ready to start, clearly they already have that ready to go and can start the spigot in terms of dollars. It’s just prudent management to do that. Things are not linear. That shorts are focused on making this seem bad just oozes desperation on their part.
