Even most all bears acknowledge that DC vaccines are somewhat effective. It is finding the correct "secret sauce" and patient selection that could make one a winner.

Exwannabe, I appreciate you telling us this.
As you know, most all longs believe that NWBO has the “secret sauce” and has already found the patient group or groups that respond well to DCVaxL. In fact, Dr. Linda Liau has also acknowledged that certain segments within the GBM population respond better than others. Now, she’s turned her attention to working to help the set of patients that don’t respond well to DCVax.

So perhaps we are all on the same page, after all.
Thank you.

First, failure of a trial does not always imply the drug is a failure. See Herceptin for a classic example of a drug that failed a key mid stage trial yet is now a blockbuster.

Exwannabe, l also agree wholeheartedly with this comment that you made.

I strongly believe that success is often reached by failing and then examining your failure to find a way forward. However, another road to success is by being diligent, addressing your mistakes early on before they become complete failures, and being willing to take the long, hard road, no matter how many bullies try to push you off that path.
It has become very clear to me that NWBO is trying to avoid the “failure” part of your quote by being extra, extra careful to capture every possible detail that would help them to succeed, which means they stop and fix mistakes (such as the early placebo that did not work) and they take the trial out as long as they have to in order to capture all information that will help them be successful.
Perhaps if their competition had paid better attention to NWBO’s preemptive moves, they may not have failed their clinical trials.

Good to see bears have changed their stance on the "Grapefruit Juice" effectiveness analogy. Would you care to go out on a limb and expound upon "somewhat effective?"
