Isn't it interesting? So in other words - they're so far behind in the game, and they're just now receiving additional funding to develop the MATERIAL that they claimed would be developed in their plan with the initial funding? Absolutely obscene.
lol. That's more damning toward them as having been 'overly promotional' with their program than anything Sanswire's released. I'm totally floored by that.
Lockheed gets a contract to develop a HAA and now they get another $10M contract to develop a covering material. It seems to me that when they accepted the first contract and all that money, the balloon cloth covering would have been part of the deal. Now, they've sucked up another $10M.
It's glaringly obvious to me that Lockheed is behind all this negativity aimed against GTE. It is also beginning to look as if the move to Palmdale might have been a terrible mistake because GTE is now playing in Lockheed's backyard.
