That's the thing, Vern! They've even outlined the entire time that they would be developing the fabric and then distributing it to 40 vendor sources under the initial funding agreement!

Shouldn't GTE be responsible for its own accomplishemnts, rather than blame cirumstances outside its control for its failures?

I mean really....Huff said that at least tethered tests were going to be accomplished by the end of August, right? Obviously, something has gone wrong.....it is now the end of September and we haven't heard a peep about any progress with the strat or anything else(oustide this German network).

GTE could stop most of this "negativity" you are speaking of with news concerning successful testing of the Strat.

Personally, I would rather have it this way. Part of the peceived problem with GTE has been their "too forward" looking PR's. I would rather have them wait to report actual progress than have them put out another "by this date, this or that will happen" type of PR.

I guess my point is that GTE will sink or swim on its own accomplishments...they haven't been blaming some other entity for their failure to produce results (at least as far as I can see). And this negativity that you speak of is a direct result of that non-production.....nothing else.
