I didn't watch The Apprentice last night, but this review by PP sure isn't very flattering for HipCricket. In fact, PP said he would fire them. For those that watched the show, do you agree with PP?

Re The Apprentice: Donald Trump and the people behind this show have NO interest in promoting mobile marketing. Their only interest was to stage a contest so they can tally a score and declare a loser to be fired in this contrived drama. The whole show was a set-up for the barrage of Gillette commercials that ran throughout the program. I would guess that HipCricket's role was very limited. NBC is not looking to HipCricket for any "creative input" in their quest to hook joe six-pack on their latest reality farce. I'm quite sure The Donald himself would parade through Times Square wearing nothing but Gillette's shaving cream if he thought it would garner a few more precious ratings points.

I think the PP's rush to judgement on HipCricket is a bit harsh.

PP comment/HipCricket: At least he's, "trying to find out is what role did HipCricket play in promoting anything involving the mobile or Fusion last night? What value, if any did they add to the show via mobile marketing?"

I think they weren't responsible at all for the actual content that was to be delivered. They're a mobile management company, not a mobile marketing concept creating company. That, of course, just JMO. We'll see what the PP uncovers.

In any account, it was great DD for NEOM on making their decision to follow through w/ the LOI here.

Our Technology

Unlike any application available in the market, our M3 System (Mobile Media Management) can create, deliver and manage marketing programs using mobile messaging and/or event marketing.

M3 is a proprietary application for planning, creating, executing and evaluating mobile marketing & event programs. It is extremely stable and can handle high loads of messages per second – enough for all current marketplace mobile applications.

Moreover, it has been designed to be very turnkey and easy to use, so the option of licensing the application for in-house use is available to our clients.

And, our unique Cost Management Optimizer allows you to evaluate marketing campaign ideas and determine ROI in advance to select the optimal price/revenue structure: standard messaging, premium messaging or either with the inclusion of sponsorship revenue.

You can reach your consumers one-on-one, interact with them in real time, and build a opted-in database for future applications – it is THAT easy with HipCricket and the M3 System!

Pondering lacks business sense...

I think PP is giving way too much credit where no credit is due. Does he really believe that MB and Donald consulted with HipCricket to deliver a targeted mobile marketing campaign? To believe this is to elevate HipCricket to "Big Player" status...

Here's something else to consider...I'm willing to bet that Gillete paid for the commercial advertising, and not the Mobile Marketing campaign. In PP's simplified explanation of what "Should have been done", he either assumes that Gillette ponied up the dough for a massive Mobile campaign, or that Mark Burnett & Donald are not shrewd enough to charge top dollar for the additional marketing opportunity created by the campaign. I'm sure they already paid a fortune for the comercials AND the product placement on the show. I'm also sure Gillete executives WOULD NOT budget for additional opportunities in Mobile Marketing at this point, due to its' relative infancy as a Marketing Medium.

Shame on you PP. Ponder some more...
